This is without doubt the very best video I have ever watched on a subject that is rarely covered. A most informative production, but spoilt a little by the non stop sniffing, which after 30 minutes or so became rather annoying.

How tiring is it to slap at 14 metres or more for a whole match ? I know that the top of the range poles are lighter than they look but it still must be exhausting.

See much more fun than playing with pond pigs. That was a cracking roach mate. Now the Thames is dropping its time to get back on there for the big chub and roach of that size and bigger. The last two wednesday matches on gold valley have been bloody hard going but at least I beat William last week so quit while I'm ahead and get back under the bivvy . Keep the videos coming please because i enjoy them all

Enjoyed watching these festival matches over the autumn period, and really appreciate that you're taking the time to do it. We all know that stuff like this can disrupt your actual match and you're doing a sterling job balancing the commentary whilst still trying to get your head down and compete. Cheers
