Pyrmont Bay to Pirrama Park walk
Переглядів 177Рік тому
One of my favorite walks in Sydney City. This entire walk takes about 45 mins and it's an easy grade walk. You can take a light rail to Pyrmont or take a ferry to Pyrmont Bay or just walk to Pyrmont from Town Hall or Central Station. You get some amazing views of the marina with luxury boats, expensive apartments, and finally the harbour bridge. Edited using #wondersharefilmora #filmoravidcon M...

A Day in the Life of an Australian Singer

I had a blast spending a whole day with Cameron Langley, a singer from Sydney, in a music studio recording one of the tracks from his upcoming album, Heroin Jones. It's my first time at a music studio and it was great to see the behind-the-scenes life there. Hope you like this video, and if you do, please LIKE and SHARE & Subscribe to the channel too. ANZAC Day Dawn to Sunset Service

The Australian Embassy describes it as follows: "ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The soldiers in those forces became known as ANZACs. My first trip to the Blue Mountains exploring! I caught the famous Blue Mountains Explorer Bus near Katoomba Railway station, which takes you to 37 different stunning locations in the Blue Mountains. What a unique event at a restaurant - a marketplace! I had an opportunity to visit Ojas Ayurvedic, a famous ayurvedic eatery in Sydney that hosts a variety of events, one of which is Bazaar Bizarre. It's a community marketplace with good food, music, and fun people. This video captures the ambiance of the place and we speak to a few of the stall operators too! Walk the Everglades Gardens / Leura, Blue Mountains / Sydney
Переглядів 571Рік тому
One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever been to is the Everglades House and Garden. Created in the 1930s, it's an Australian landmark in the art of gardening, and it brings European elements and the rawness of the Australian bushland. Everglades is situated in the suburb of Leura, in the iconic Blue Mountains region. My interesting links (1) Check Out Australia t-shirts: checkoutaus.com/m...

Hello, I have a live presentation about the University of New South Wales, and I would like to use your video as a warm-up video. I will credit the source, and I look forward to your reply.
Cool Video 'You might like to see my buss one haha lil diffrent but still pretty cool, Cheers from Lura 🤔
thanks !
Thanks, WOW its changed so much! the large building I worked in was called Hardboards Australia, Caneite. I started working there back in 1979 as a 17 year old, that's where Piramma park is now. Good memories for me.
Just perfect... thank you.
Some of my early school mates came from those beautiful houses .We on the other hand were very happy in a two bedroom one bathroom flat in Neutral Bay.
Imaging our old gang riding our push bikes around that area in the 50s .
Nice
How long did it take for you to see the places? And what time do they start?
You can check out their timetable here: www.explorerbus.com.au/map-walking-guides/ The first trip is 9 AM and the final one is 4 PM. I stopped almost everywhere and did a lot of walking in the scenic spots, so I think it took me the whole day pretty much!
You survived pedophile park! Congratulations!
CUT YOUR NAILS MAN
I was from wrench street
I finished my Master degree in 1999, and didn't go back to visit until this year. I wish I had video equipment to do my own tour back in 1999 to see the difference. A lot has changed, but still recognise many back ramp, stairs behind lecture theatres.
I suppose back in the day, people weren’t really into vlogs, blogs and social media! I am sure there are archival videos of the campus somewhere.
You are bring back some memories of my childhood in the 80s. My best friends live there.👍
is the hop on hop off bus is worthy? or we should buy 49$ ticket for skywalk , cable way etc package?
Hi Virgo23, if you can afford it, get all 3! Skyway and Scenic Cableway offer unique experiences of the Blue Mountain region. The walking tracks & museum provides another. The HOHO bus is very useful because it covers all the main tourist spots. You could also take the standard bus but not sure if it has stops near all the tourist attractions. What I would do is plan out all your activities in the Blue Mountains, and then see which mode of transport you need - the public bus, self-driving, taxi, or the HOHO bus. The HOHO bus is a quick travel to all the main attractions but you may not want to get down at all places.
Could you let me know the piano music name which you have used for this video. Already such a lovely uni and the piano music was the icing on the cake!
All the tunes go so well with video, could you provide me the list?
Hi RVijay234! My apologies for the late response! I didn't know I had a comment from you. Glad you liked the video and music! All my music comes from here: www.epidemicsound.com/referral/3f9fb0. I assume you are referring to the piano after the introduction music. If so, you can find it in the above link - it's Glowing Embers by Megan Woffrd. All the best and thanks for watching & listening :)
Love it…👍🌹📝📖📚

Nice video… sadly no stunning art deco Everglades house?
Thank you - this video is so well done - really gives us the "Visitor Experience" - much appreciated.
Haven't seen in your video what's inside those buildings. What about the gym?
Hey there! Thanks for watching 🙏 You are right. I was recording on a weekend when buildings are shut, except for the library, gym or a cafe or two. I can confirm the university has a very good gym and fitness centre. I should’ve recorded it but I didn’t go that far.
Hi! Does the university offer scholarships?😋
Hey, almost all educational institutions offer some sort of scholarships. I suggest you check out the university website for scholarships info. The weblink is in my UA-cam description. Hope this helps.

What does your comment mean, Nathalie?
Beautiful video, once lived in Kiribili.
Thank you so much for the compliment, Michael 🙏 Much appreciated 😌 Kiribili is such a nice place to live. Expensive, I bet.

I love the University of Sydney. I am doing my PhD here!
All the best with your studies! Nice to meet you here also 🙏
@@checkoutaustralia Nice to meet you too! Thank you!
inshAllah
didn't show the sports and health centre
You are right :( I was on a random walk here and there, capturing what I could. I didn’t really know what all I would miss. Also, I didn’t enter any buildings. Are you referring to open fields for sports?
I'm from Bangalore and I can't wait to be able to explore more of Sydney! Looks like such a beautiful and quiet place to explore, plus I love the atmosphere ♥New fan from Bangalore
Nice to meet you and thank you for your comment. Sydney is beautiful and so is the whole of Australia. Each place is unique. Hope you get a chance to visit the place one day. I’ve been to Bangalore myself, and I like the vibe the place has. Haven’t been there for almost a decade and I am sure a lot has changed since then. Happy new year, by the way!
Shit music made me stop watching!
Thank you for featuring my Newtown artwork at 10:52! I’m currently travelling in the Faroe Islands and have appreciated travel advice on UA-cam. Many people would find your video entertaining, very helpful and informative!
Hi Lew, Nice to meet you and thank you for the compliments! I am so happy you found the video interesting 🙂 And I love your artwork! I remember it well. So, well drawn. Enjoy your travels!
something tells me they're ruining the place I was brought up in
Great video! Will you be covering any other running events?
Thank you for watching and the compliment! I would be interested to cover other races also but I haven’t yet researched. Maybe I should start planning…
I jump my bike at the location at 2:42 and like on 20 Phillips street and it’s a great location

Very nice video
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Much appreciated 🙏
Great video! Love all the Timelapses, a great way to capture a giant event like this! Wonderful meeting you and thanks for enjoying our hula hoop performance :D
Hey! So nice to hear from you and thank you for watching the video. You are the real star of the episode! Nice meeting you also and hope our paths cross again 🙏
...many happy memories up at The Oaks in Military Road....you could buy a big T-bone steak and jacket potato for $ 5.00 with salad. you cooked it yourself on the bbq there.
The good old days, huh? Sounds like you had many happy meals at The Oaks!
@Gary I could eat that right now! Especially for 5 bucks
@@onelife7247 yes, in the 80s in Sydney we couldn't believe how cheap things were compared to London prices. There was great nightlife and I had many great evenings with my old mate Ian Nessick who has his own mens fashion boutique in and around Paddington.
@@checkoutaustralia yep... Military Road on the 80s had some great places. There was Café Royale and Maisys .... probably all gone now.
@@garyholmes2568maisys is still going
I lived in Aubin Street, from 1985 to 1990....happiest years of my life. 3 minute walk down to the ferry to get across to Circular Quay for my job in Kent Street in the city centre. I'm from London and now I live in Molde, Norway.
I assume house prices were dirt cheap back then compared to now. The ferry to Circular Quay is still beautiful but slightly more traffic than decades ago I assume. Kent St is quiet empty these days due to pandemic fears. London & Norway - two places I want to go to!!
I used to live in Neutral Bay. Could see the harbour Bridge which was amazing
Lovely video thanks for the inclusion! Namaste

Yes, university life is always a memorable part of our lives. What exactly do you miss? Have you visited it since graduation?
Alot of dating memories at unsw with my bf at the time and husband now.
Nice memories and congratulations!!!
Wow haven't been to unsw for ages and it has changed so much. They have really good laksa near the library
Yes, true. Universities go through architectural upgrades every 5 years or so, if not decades. Always nice to visit places of the past you were a part off.
Really great video! I wanted to do this tour last time I went back but didn’t have the time. I’m happy I can see the tour from your video! I hope you will continue your kayaking journey.. it’s such a great sport
So glad you liked the video! Thank you🙏 Hope you get the opportunity to do this tour next time. Yes, I do like this sport and I am hoping to practice it more in the future 🚣
Love the background music. Thank you for sharing.
I love the music too, especially the guitar instrumental 😌 Soothing. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video and comment.
Thanks for visiting us and creating this impressive video. It's terrific. Best wishes from the Museum Team.
I am SOOOO honoured to hear from you! What a surprise :) You made my day with your comment and compliments. I didn't expect it. Thank you and I am glad you loved the video. I had such a great time at your facility and learnt so much about our history. I have been raving about the museum to many people since then and encouraging them to visit it. My best wishes to you also and thank you for all your hard work in managing such an important place.
