Weird how they chose to do it on the 600, I just ordered one for my 2023 Suzuki and the db killer was removable, mate just upgraded his Aprilia and the Akra also had the removable db killer…

That’s a horrible regulation.😡
@@ssupl_com I know Bro…
Oregon is like the Ireland of the U.S.
Ok, first off, I can understand your plight… when you love a song o no the radio, you wanna turn it up and it is perceived as more exciting, etc… BUT, that comes with caveats… it bothers neighbors, it can exacerbate hearing loss, etc… I live in a neighborhood with families, and I have an Rs660 with the loudest performance exhaust on the planet: SC project CRT. Don’t get me wrong, I DO love it… BUT, it has pretty much restricted my riding time to waking hours out of respect for my neighbors… there are occasions where I will make exceptions, but I ride WAY less in the wee hours on my Aprilia than on my Cbr500r when I was a beginner, and I wish that wasn’t the case
@@SongJLikes well… understandable.. but my bikes are stored in business estate are, there is no houses in a 2 mile circle so i can start engine at 4am in a morning and no one hears me .. Btw.. SC Prcject CRT my favourite exhaust 😁
@ - ok, ok… I can see there are fewer limitations in your situation… so do your thing… The CRT caught me by surprise with its volume output… but my god, it makes my p-twin sound like an offshore racing boat… and it is super f’n lightweight which pays dividends It rattles my brain, but I’m ’used to it’ now… or it’s given me brain damage 🤷♂️
Bro the best sounding and loudest (not toce) I’ve heard on a CBR is the Mivv Suono. Looks awesome, and it’s very cheap too. One of the best exhaust out there for CBR600RR, also used by the oficial honda team in moto 2 back then. The references are UH.037.L7 and UH.037.L9 (black one). Those fit the 2024 CBR perfectly, trust me. Pd: Thanks for the fiber mention ;)
@@V8pulley I’ll have a look on them for sure Bro ! Appreciate advice a lot 🫡
wdym by ''not toce'' ?
@@Skopa-x2r I mean that the loudest exhaust out there for 600rr is TOCE, but the behind that one, seats the mivv suono the loudest and best sounding. Very balanced sounding exhaust.
Good to know!

I recently bought a brand-new CBR600RR with a pre-installed Akrapovič exhaust and a few additional mods, such as steel brake lines. It was delivered just yesterday, but unfortunately, the weather has been terrible for riding. As a result, I’ve had to keep it parked since it arrived and haven’t had a chance to take it out for a single ride yet. I am pretty sure I will love the bike and can’t wait wether to get better

Hi, I live in ireland same as you, so I underestand how it is with the weather over here. I want to ask you, if you would recommend buying 2024 cbr600rr. I sold m 2007 yamaha r1 and looking for something smaller. What do you thing Aprilia RS660 or CBR? Thank you
@@marekjuricek In my humble opinion April sounds better with SC Project exhaust then my CBR with Akra.. if you ask me same questions as looking for fist sport bike I’ll will say for sure take RS660.. it’s little bit cheaper, 9kg lighter then RR and all together it’s better as beginner sport bike .. but you got experience with Not restricted by euro 5+ emissions R1 witch have lots of power and I’m more then sure that RS660 will feel slow for you in about week or two .. if I was in your position I’m definitely stick in to 4 cylinder bikes, orb considered new r9 ( 3 cylinder, 119bhp plenty of torque on bottom ) - but price for that in Ireland will be around 17k witch is a lot for middle weight bike .. for 19k you got brand new s1000rr in that be grey colour way and technology in that bike is years ahead then in my CBR,Rs660 and R9 .. So…. It’s tough choice Bro not gone lie.. Did I recommend 2024 600RR - it’s big YES.. it’s so easy to ride with lots of electronics and everyone on the street looks after this bike because looks exactly like baby FIREBLADE RR-R SP .. P.s jak byś był na kuponie to moja RR w marcu będzie do wzięcia .. na tą chwilę ma 1650km przejechane ;)

Hey, how unconfortable is it?? And does The exhaust get to hot??
@@pauloloureiro4415 I’m my humble opinion 600rr is best comfortable sport bike you can get .. handle bar are higher then any other sport bike, foot pegs are lower so position is very comfortable.. exhaust is probably hot but I never felt heat from under the seat.. it’s really most easiest and comfortable middle size super sport bike to ride.
@@FreeRideFusionyeah the exhaust is the thing that scares me the most, I saw some people saing that it gets really hot….. I have a rs660 and I’m looking to switch the cbr next year…..
@@pauloloureiro4415 I’ll be 💯 procent honest with you.. I’ll se myself people saying that but I’ll never experience any hot spots or any temperature from the exhaust under rider seat .. I was one day 4h on that bike and seat was cold all the time.. ( sometimes I’m thinking that people who’s saying that heat from the exhaust never riding that bike, they just assume that because it’s under tail exhaust) maybe pillion seat get little bit hotter but I’ll never riding with backpack ( passenger ) so I’ll never know that ..

What do you think of this cbr ?
@@AllFubar I can with 100% confidence recommended this bike to everyone who looking powerful enough, easy to ride bike. It’s very reliable ( like all Honda bikes ) have all new top notch electronics, looks super modern ( some people call that 600RR - Baby FIREBLADE RR-R ).. one thing is annoying as hell for me is that crazy euro 5+ emission regulation ( which all new 2024+ bikes will have to comply with ) … that kills exhaust sound completely.. changing only slip on exhaust will not make a much difference in loudness… All 2024 bikes to sound better will have to have full exhaust ( racing )systems on them ..
@FreeRideFusion are they trying to kill the exhaust world? have you ever evaluated the 636? what bike did you have before this one?
@@FreeRideFusionI’ve got the same bike with the 2016 onwards akrapovic slip on (removable baffle) and it sounds amazing, pops and bangs on up and downshift and is much louder. Do not get the current model exhaust as the baffle is welded in and required drilling rivets and breaking a weld to remove.
@ i know bro.. it’s to late I already done that 🙈 painful experience
Great ! What's your bubble reference please ?
@@Vaassili08 if i underground your question correctly you asked about bigger screen options.. I got PUIG Z-Racer ( I chose this one because for me it looks better ) but now after riding my bike over 200km/h I will prefer to have R-Racer option ( that 6mm difference in height will give you much less wind buffeting in high speeds )
@@FreeRideFusion Sorry I'm French.. Thanks for your answer, got the R-Racer on my ZX6R 2024. Just asking myself if the double bubble was better ^^
@ yes.. it’s much better then stock screen on cbr 600rr
How do you compare this generation to 2008 one? I like the 2008 look a lot, but I can’t find it in good condition, so I may buy this one. What are the differences between the 2 technically ? Do they still have the same engine ?
@@Amounraa i actually use to have 2008 600rr as well ( that white from my profile picture), from 2008 till 2024 all cbr 600rr have exact same engine. My 2008 didn’t have ABS ( I know that there was option to get them with ABS from 2008 ) To be completely honest if 600rr is not your first bike, you have some experience riding motorcycles and you not one off them riders who always open full throttle as fast as they can you can easily go for 2008 model ( but try to find one with ABS ) and enjoy this bike a lot ! Them 2008-2016 models have much less restrictions on exhaust ( catalytic converter ) then my 2024 model.. so doesn’t matter what kind of slip on exhaust you put in it will sound loud and beautiful. Main difference between 2008 and new 2024 is electronics.. New ones got All top notch safety features from FIREBLADE ( 6 axis IMU, 3-4 different power maps plus 2 fully customisable by rider, adjustable wheelie control, rear wheel lift off and 9 different traction control settings ( it overkill for 600 for sure ) but if you kinda of new to bikes or you have some experience on bikes but you never push them to the limits and now you want to do that you should definitely go for 2024 model ( it’s powerful at the same time it’s really safe because of all those safety systems) More advanced rides will definitely appreciate better fully adjustable suspension in 2024 models ( but for normal everyday riding you not feel the difference ) Best part about that 2024 CBR 600RR is that angry modern front end looks with led headlights..
@@FreeRideFusion you summed it all up very nicely. Maybe you bought an exhaust designed for the previous generation and it fits? That would be great…

@@mrglock568 Me too!
This is good to know. Is it a substantial difference with just the slip on mate? Honda told me you have power loss issues with slip ons on the new cbr because the stock exhaust is finely tuned to the bike, is that BS?
I don’t feel any power difference.. it’s only a back box .. if you remove CAT and go for full exhaust system then you might fell lower power and you need tune that bike then ..

yea... the EU is losing their minds, even try to meddle with racing like motoGP regarding its exausts situation. So in not so long even the "racing only" exausts are going to be restricted. At that point is going to be better to just get a welder and make your own. F1 already went through this, from screaming engines going full throttle to the boring sounds we have today and requiring to lift the throttle because a fuel consumption limit.
