Good review, I really like the Victron controllers. Upgrading our 75/15 to the 100/30 now to add some more solar. If you want to put a couple of small machine screws with washers and nuts through the back wall of that battery box and mount the Victron vertically with the wires facing down, it'll be a lot more resistant to any dirt or water that might make its way into that battery box. Looks like that box is deep enough the wires could go down and back up without any problems.

It is illegal to feed wildlife in National Parks. Why? Because animals that learn to eat food near cars end up approaching cars and getting run over. Why do you hate our National Parks and why do you want to kill wild animals? Why do hate prairie dogs so much that you want them dead?

I had a great time camping at Temperance River. The hike I really don't remember so you are probably right to skip. However the camping was not as crowded as the other parks and the beach was quite good. This was back in the 90s. YMMV.
