if we can have those things on file it may help us to track it even if it is in earas that we did not register with the dmv . or if we travle though customs with it
@@jasoncroteau4953 Hi there! We highly recommend including any accessories and their serial numbers as part of a bike's profile, or within their own profile. Cheers!
Great video and I would like to add this advice... Like you said the rear tire wears out faster than the front and the front tire always looks like new. So many riders just keep replacing only the rear tire not realizing that over time the rubber on the front tire gets rock hard causing the tire to easily slip and be very dangerous! So here's a little secret the next time you replace your worn out rear tire.. Remove the old (but new looking) front tire and rotate it to the rear, and put the new tire in the front. This not only makes your bike safer, but also you only need to replace "One Tire" instead of two. I also advise my method for those who like to rotate their tires so they wear out evenly, cause in the end you have to replace two very expensive tires. My method is safer and you only have to purchase "one tire", cause tires nowadays are crazy expensive. Enjoy Dan ( :

I'm forever forgetting to block my hydrolic disk brakes, so the pad spreader is a life saver. Also, the pry/wedge bar is greeat for sticky brake pistons. Both are cheap, from Park Tool, and are always close at hand. Gonna demonstrate how you use the various tools? Would love to see them in action! Thanks!
Had a LBS mis-thread my chain in my endurance bike. Took it home but rode my race bike for a few weeks. Then I got on the endurance bike and immediately discovered I had totally no ability to shift, Bad suprise!.Puzzled, I returned to that LBS, they caught the mis-threading error, and all was made right. Then, I found a new LBS. Thanks for your good, accurate info!

Good tips! ⛓️ Ch-ch-chain! 🎶
Yo I got a question, my mtb (it's not new, but used, we bought it for cheap from my mom's friend, sometimes if I do a little jump it goes from the current gear to the previous one, could it be the chain being too lose? correct me if I'm speaking bs, I have never been into bikes that much
This isnt helpful for derailer issues, you basically displayed how to use an aerosol can, pretty much pointless.
Thanks for explaining!
2:39 Some Shimano front derailleurs cage outer plate don't need to be flush with chainring. Manual will write: "Perform adjustment so that the flat surface of the outer plate is in a position directly above the largest chainring and that the rear edge of the outer plate is inwards by 0.5 - 1 mm compared to the front edge."
any way u might be bothered to actually show the label of that lube??
WD40 would probably work just as well
Good Video, questions? What size bike and how tall are you ? Also inseam length and stem length ???
I second this question
Two clowns not doing a proper review!
Did you know Project 529 will sell your email address? Says so right in the User Agreement. You can opt out but only if your community subscribes -- that is pays money -- to 529 Garage. And why should we have to opt out? This behaviour is reprehensible. Shame on you!
This is garbage, if I used that lil tool he used my shit wouldn't be tight at all and kill myself
Any tips for internally routed cables?
Someone should really invent some type of self sealing stem bolt to prevent this problem.
A random Deep space 9 reference appeared
You can buy it for 40€ now
Sir is it ok for them to be slightly uneven like none is tighten all the way in but the top is about 2-3 mm less gap? It's impossible for me to get them even.
Is the shimano build a xl and if so how tall are you and how do you find the sizing?
The Shimano build in this video is a Large. You can find all the geometry and size charts on the Norco website. www.norco.com/bikes/mountain/trail/optic/
Torque wrench and cassette tool and chain wip are also a must
How would you go about loosening the tension on a shimano deore xt derailleur or is the same process for all bikes
Bottom Bracket Wrench
What was the chain tool that you had?
What's the name of the tool used to tighten?
Hi Graeme, great video. Keep up the good work!
Pedros Tutto chain tool! IT's excellent and what we use for 99.99% of the chains we install.
Stunning bike... Helpful information too!
Keep in mind that tightening instruction can vary depending on manufacturer. Some stems are designed for the bottom to be tightened flush first, then torque the top bolts. For example, I know of an Easton and Renthal model stem that require this. Thanks.
Excellent point @samk1201 ! There are certain stems that require a different method of tightening the bolts, and you should always follow the manufacturers instructions. This tip is for the 99.4% of bike stems that you would find in the wild.
@@frontenaccycleyou mean the 1.6% lol that isn't the general population standard gooseneck
Never clamp a bike on the frame!
I'll allow it.
@@nickhealey916 Maybe if you only work on cheap bikes, and you don't care about the paint job. Not if you're a professional at a bike shop.
how comfortable are these over a 200KM Gravel RACE?
why do you suggest to adjust the writing on the tire with the valve ?
It helps when trying to determine the cause of the flat. If you know where the hole in the tube is, you can match it up more easily if the tire has been removed. Also, aesthetics!
Where is it?
bar mitts universal? can one pair fit both 90’s mtb & road bike?
There are different ones for flat bars and drops bars as well as different sizes of each!
Useful! Thanks 👍
Great bibs & on sale usually less than half retail. I've been using these since 2020 & they are my fav bibs. This model is actually improved over last model. These have better leg grippers. The old were red horizontal grippers that eventually peeled off like pin striping tape. But these new ones are vertical & better designed. The chamois the 700 series is excellent! I use the narrow & works great
my head circumference is 57.5cm Bontrager medium is up to 60cm, but it still is tight. I’m bald so its not the hair.
Nice man! Just bought a Norco revolver myself. First dually I’ve ever bought. Is on layby, so once she’s paid off I’ll be hittin the trails here in Adelaide. Can’t wait!! Loved ya video mate, keep up the sweet content! 👌

Like the video. Nice to hear how a bike rides a trail I know rather than BC bias review. Thanks! I agree with andre on the wheels, I may do similar if I buy an optic. Does andre still have the optic or did he change back to an element?
Hey David, André here - I still have my optic, and I don't plan on selling it anytime soon! With the lighter wheel setup, it's the perfect trail bike for Kingston.
My go-to ride snack are oatmeal muffins. I add lots of molasses, dried cranberries, shredded coconut, and chocolate chips, of course.
My version has more butter, less sugar, and load in the oats. 😊 Also use a 70% dark choc bar ✨
Sometimes he does half dark, half milk chocolate, chopped in chunks!
What is an acceptable amount of space showing between the plate and the stem?
The actual measurement will vary slightly from stem to stem but generally speaking, as long as bolts are tightened evenly and the gap is even, you should be good.
