Hi! Thanks for the video. I too came here for the nature! What has been hardest for me is 1) the traffic where we live is really terrible (Wake Forest area); I've really been shocked at how difficult it is to get around here, and with things so spread out that is simple much harder than I thought it was going to be; 2) Yes, there are nice restaurants, but I'm having trouble finding high-quality mid-priced ake-out options (Thai, Chinese) which I wasn't expecting with a city of this size; 3) I wasn't expecting it to be cheaper than Maryland necessarily, but wow, some things seem to be more expensive (health care, some restaurants, etc). The first two seem hardest for me in terms of livability. Other things like the snakes, roaches don't bother me at all!

I saw a Rolls Royce in Apex today.

I think it's just the right amount!

Loved them all but favorite was third home Summer Tanager with amazing stairway. That did it for me plus the modern look. Back patio. Yard. Kitchen. Windows. But I agree about unfinished room at that price. I say finish it. Off special note was black tub in shower in other house I was like WTF that's amazing.

Looks like MAJOR water problems with the exterior brick siding. Efflorescence is starting to appear and to me, indicated water behind the bricks. Don't like the toilet next to the kitchen.

North Raleigh is the best suburb of Raleigh

What's happening in Raleigh (Wake County) is dayum shame. It's really unaffordable to a lot of people that's been here all their life. Alot of the local people dont want to be compared to Austin about anything. High cost of living and bad traffic.

The newer construction of homes are not as well made as the older homes.

Downtown is dead. Shops close early. Not much traffic Downtown.

Just because you can't drive to good skiing if you live in Raleigh doesn't mean you can't just as easily get to it by going to RDU.
