Home video of ramp system I constructed to get my Polaris to fit into the back of my Nissan Pickup. Shot April 1st 2009 at my residence.
lighter fluid can also be used to clean those parts
true synthetic oils mix with the gas alot better
what happens in the future if i just start using a premix and just leave the oil pump in it?thank you

2.25x14
Treatland have a better looking version......problem with the one you are portraying is that the expandable rubber does not last. It increases in diameter and you can't get it in again. Cheers. Regards .Andrew .
Got any details on the carb/parts used in this performance mod?
It soundeded like gonna be a countdown and a splosion. Big ol SPLOSION!
Talcum powder, not oil
Are your rubber o rings for your intakes newish or old and dried out?
I assume the bike is up to operational temp?
Dude… I made this video 9 years ago. 🤣
@@MrMark-sr2fs so how did it turn out then?
So no speed test?
i broke 4 ribs jumping one of these over a ramp way to high. you should have showed the wind-up starter!
Hola Como Hiciste el Arranque asi??
Your bike is 4 stroking now!
*I'd want the '2-speed Auto' model and a 'cross-bar strut' for strength* _______________ ( *What's the 'Drama' in the re-start...the 'hesitation?'* *Is that 'Edging' or what?* ) *In fact, I'd just go w/a later model 'Passport' because I want the electric starter from being lazy and convert the electrics to 12-volt which is much more reliable and ease of parts replacements* ______________ *My '08 'Metropolitan' in gloss black/grey is the most reliable machine I've ever owned in 68-yrs. and it 'goes with the house' when I croak* *A few minor performance mods and a 14-inch windscreen gives it 42-mph on level roads w/a stock engine and exhaust...even with my 230lbs of fat ass on it!*
Hey man I'm trying to find an ignition coil for a 1978 honda express can you help me please
Can these bike work with an ignition coil without the condencer .
Sick
Just bought a slightly disassembled 1980 NC50 and found your website/vids. Very excited to work on it and get it running, your info will be essential.

I think I pegged mine once and that was when I was almost out of gas, every time. Must like a little leaner mix. I see you capped the oil tank and premixed.
Brings back good memories.
I’d say that polishing and porting aswell as this may help?
I find that a workbench is always easier to use than the ground and a foot. And put a long 1/2" bolt in the benchtop to act as stabilizing post - put the wheel over it and it will keep the wheel from sliding around.
Hey man cool idea! 👍
Glad you like it!
What carby is that? I have a honder express 2speed after 81 model but unsure on exact model. I want to get a bigger carby for it for more power
Is there any way I can get some help on my 81 Honda express? Thanks in advance.
How can I help you?
@@EverydayInternetSol I’ve since sold the bike but I have another Honda express, I’d like to know if I need special tools to take the engine apart. I found a head gasket leak and I’m going to redo the entire engine as far as seals and gaskets. Thanks for the advice in advance and ride safe, and hope you have a new video out soon it’s been a while since your last one.
Thank you very much I just bought two bikes and one was bypassed and I want to change it back to original so I hope the pump is fixable and I will now know to grease it. Iwill also use the synthetic oil.
Did it work?
Is it the same set up as a 535
Very informative. You bike needs an inline fuel filter with a magnet in it . My bike's cards used to get dirty like yours in no time . Till i replaced fuel line and added inline fuel filter with magnet . Please also do so and make a video about it also . Will help your engine run longer with a fuel filter .
I finally fixed mine....muffler bearings were too tight.
Could you maybe show how you made your synchronizing carb tool
What oil and ratio did u run when it blew? Wish u would of reved it a bit. I have a stock 77 mabe mod one day.
I got an orange Express in 1979. In Iowa you could get a "moped' license at 14 haha, bad decision State of Iowa! I rode it off road, in the snow, you name it. Damn thing would run forever. A neighbor used to remove the governor and put on a custom exhaust pipe for us kids. I think mine could hit 40 downhill haha.
good morning sir, id like to know what kind of carburetor model that is i like the fact that the choke is in the right place and what kit you're using. thanks for posting stay well.
I have a question on this bike if anyone can help me out I just bought one without a battery and was wondering what battery I should get for my 500
From New Hampshire? I’m from Maine and an avid Honda express fan.
NICE VIDEO,HOW MUCH FASTER DID IT DO AFTER THE MODS?THANK YOU
Hey did you solve it? I am having the same problem with my Virago 535 (however my alignments go way further away from each others) I am losing my mind
vacuum leak from intake boots
Hey there so I just purchased the same carb and intake and have also installed them but in terms of removing the oil pump and plugging it....what do I do about the throttle. My throttle connects directly to the top of my oil pump but wouldn’t know where to connect it. Or do I not need the secondary throttle cable to the oil pump since I just need to connect to the carb (since it’s pre mix)? Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks man!
You can buy a single cable throttle cable, no more need for the dual cable. I recently had to go to a single cable and now pre mix due to my dual cable breaking, therefore rendering my oil pump useless, but I just left the pump and capped off my hoses coming form oil pump.
Hey there! Looked through your profile and videos and comment sections to try and find some parts links for your express but couldn’t find anything. Any chance you could supply a list of parts you used for this moped? Having a lot of carb problems with my express...fuel and air delivery. Thanks for your help! I’m subscribed!!
Lucky Mullarkey you can find my parts on hondaexpressmoped dot com website. Post entitled “The steps for NC50 Honda Express 1978 moped performance tuning”
Thanks man! Appreciate it.
I have a 1980 NC50, any idea where I can buy a new cover to the air filter or maybe a high performance air filter
treatland.tv
That one piece that you mention not to take out, I was air blowing the ports and it just flew out. Cleaned everything up and reassembled the pump. Not sure if suppose to do that, but at least it's freed up and was not difficult to install back.
I pulled the shaft with gear and put the pump back where it was and use premix
was that an Iowa stock muffler?
I've just picked up a 1985 2speed one of these also seems to make that same tapping/rattle sound, is it likely to be an issue? I'm not too concerned at this point because it starts first kick every time, and by looking at this video they are capable of exceeding 30mph
I have an orange one like that and it goes 30 mph
This did help with my 81 nc50 but did use a lower cost ultrasonic cleaner with Lysol and water mixed 50/50 lemon scented for that nice lemonie smell.
Hey bro what parts did you exactly use I just bought a 78 nc50 and want to gain more speed. Tia
Rene Vazquez you can find the part list on hondaexpressmoped dot com website.
