The first thing is wrong already.... Immediately move on to another video 😅
I actually really liked this video because it was based on your unique playthrough. I've watched so many videos where everybody agrees, so it was more interesting.
Thank you lol, I was never 100% on my list being anywhere close to objective, I just sort of wanted to share what my impressions were after my playthrough
Hey I'm just wondering how big is it with all the DLC installed on the PS5
Maybe a 15-20gb
@Malzenomamador3412 Thanks but can you check I don't want to have to uninstall another game
@@jennifercox6541 i have it on xbox, 15gb is the size on xbox, maybe on ps is different
I’m not 100% sure, I played through the game on Steam, but like the other guy said I think 15 GB sounds right
(I feel like this comment sounds very attitudey and I apologize because that wasn't what I was going for. also I feel like it sounds super negative toward FE3H when it's one of my favorite games of all time) I gotta ask, did you play FE3H? because your complaint about Engage seems to be less specific to Engage and more that it's adding RPG elements, which have been pretty present since Awakening, and 3H had this even more prominently. to me it's not a good thing and it's not a bad thing, it's just a thing, but I don't think it makes the series or any game ashamed it's a SRPG. also you seem really disappointed in the lack of difficulty but imo 3H is even easier
You’re all good and sorry if I maybe went a little overboard with some of the negativity lol. The reason I talked about engage instead of 3 houses is that I only wanted to talk about games I that came out in the 2020’s and 3H missed the cutoff by a little bit. And also, I don’t know if it’s just that I haven’t played in a while, or if some of my tastes changed a little little bit since it came out, but I didn’t find three houses to be nearly as intrusive anyway
@@JakeGigs oh shoot I've been so lost in the 3H sauce for so long I totally forgot it's from 2019 lol. and no worries, it's your opinion after all! I think the reason the RPG stuff is easier to deal with in 3H is simply because the story and characters are way better and more interesting so you actually like WANT to interact with the systems of learning more about the characters and world. at least for me. also that exercise minigame in Engage is a war crime for sure
Yeah honestly I do kind of agree with you in regards to the 3H story and characters. I definitely found myself to be a lot more immersed in the world and characters quite a bit more and it was a lot more interesting seeing a lot of the different houses dynamics play out rather than doing…. the exercise mini game lol
definitely agree there's gonna be a new Bravely or a port or something. and definitely looking forward to it!! my top two are probably Guardians of Azuma - not super into Rune Factory but I was sooo sold by that trailer - and Hundred Line Academy because I love Danganronpa.
Oh hundred line academy I forgot about that!!! Yeah, I’m super looking forward to that game as well it just looks so fantastic
While I love the inclusion of brave points. CS3 is the worst one for me, the dungeons are such a downgrade in this one in comparison to the rest of series, the lack of any intesting good gimmicks and minimilsitic environments. The only kind of interesting one is the end one where you control 3 different parties. I also really hated the dragon boss fight towards the end because you had to face it with 3 different parties and the odds are you cant stop a lot of your party being stunlocked to death. Its also kind of the start of too much fan service in terms constantly bringing alot of past characters back which kinda is immersion breaking in someways. Im also the most lukewarm of the new class 7 and the story just wasnt that great, I wasnt fond of Crow returning and I dont think I was surprised by any of the plot in this one unlike a lot of the series.
I can definitely see what you mean, especially with new class seven being sort of meh. I do really like altina though
Basically from what I get from his ranking is He’s not good at the games so he puts them on the hardest difficulty and becuase he can beat 1 boss fight he thinks now he’s the best and dismisses all the games and calls trails of cold steel 4 and trails through daybreak as lazy and bad games.
Interesting interpretation. It’s been a while since I’ve made this video but I don’t think I specifically said either of those games were bad exclusively due to their difficulty. I think cs4 was kinda lazy in the sense that a lot of the boss fights and characters sorta felt incomplete with all of the guests and scripted segments and I just didn’t find a lot of the daybreak team building and skills all that interesting compared to the rest of the series. I wouldn’t make an entire video on the series if I didn’t like it, I just had a few negative things to say about a few of the games
Immediately closed the video when merchant was second to last lol
I think the merchant line strong because tycoon is absolutely broken, but merchant itself doesn’t really have anything that strong in my opinion. I think the extra money is kind of nice and the early game access to almighty damage is kind of convenient but I’m just not a fan of these more inconsistent classes not to mention that the synthesis skills it’s gives you access to are so bleh in my opinion. I never really hungered for extra mag or money outside of the early game and I guess traders summit is kind of ok when you’re healing with items, but those are all just things that get completely outclassed at least in my experience
@ almight physical carries though, wayyyy beyond 2nd worst class
@jhon1406 i’m definitely open to the idea that my list isn’t 100% accurate, and it could potentially be much higher than second worst But even in that case that the weak version of almighty is on its own is just not as strong without all of the stats and other resources of better classes. But yeah, like I said, I didn’t 100% to get all of the experience of trying it out maybe as extensively but this is at least the thought process that I went through in making the list
This list is interesting...
I really enjoyed the trails through daybreak; it was one of my highlights this year, in fact. But it's not difficult for me to enjoy these games because I'm just so invested in Zemuria; it's one of my favorite worlds in the genre and it's filled with great characters and beautiful locations and crammed with history and lore.
I love the whole series; thank you, Falcom. I've loved every title. It's a comfy series; I'm way more lenient than you, obviously, but it's interesting to see a different view on things.
I think you misunderstood what the Hyper skill actually does. It’s not that it can only be used once per battle, it’s that the effect of the damage boost only lasts for one attack. The skill can be used as many times as you want- it’s basically the same as Concentrate/Mind Charge from the Persona games.
Ah my mistake then lol. In my defense it is worded a bit peculiarly
@ yeah it is
Your video is funny to me , because most trails fans are more concerned with the story of it rather than the gameplay, but you are a gameplay first type of person and honestly this is so refreshing to see on UA-cam.
I definitely appreciate all sorts of aspects to these kind of games but yeah from the overall loop perspective of the game the gameplay of what I’m playing is definitely what I find to be the most important, but I still do appreciate the story
My fav part about trails is the character and world building but the gameplay is also the charm imo especially the sky and crossbelt games
I find your opinions bery interesting, especially since CS4 and Daybreak are my third and fourth favorite in the series. I never found the inability to customise the temporary characters to be a problem since they were temporary. Yes they are playable but they aren't party members so the ability to customize them isnt necessary. Yes Daybreak is too easy but i would say that all games simce CS1 have been too easy. Infinite delay in the first 2 games made bosses way too easy, and Rean was able to solo the bosses in the final sequence with no issue. In CS3 having Musse and Altina be able to cast with basically no delay while Rean and Ash can blow through break bars once again preventing enemies from ever acting. I feel the endgame where you can't customize the temporary units makes CS4 more interesting here since you can't have these broken builds to blow through the bosses and therefore makes the bosses better.
When the temporary characters are done in smaller doses. I also really don’t mind but I just felt like cold steel 4 really overdid it, at least in my opinion. And while I definitely also agree that the series has never really been all that difficult, I still found daybreak to be by far the least engaging whether it was due to the difficulty, or me not really finding any of the move sets or skills all that interesting either. And also things like I just hated a lot of the side quests. Although I do really think the battle system in daybreak had a ton of potential, so that’s why I’m still pretty excited for the sequel and also Kai because I really do feel like it has the potential to be the strongest with some tweaks
@@JakeGigs I personally thought that daybreak had some of the best side quests in the series simply because of how much story goes into them. The best example of this is the one with the kid doing drugs. You can visit the family and talk with them throughout the entire game, and feel bad for the kid with how his parents treat him and each other. The resolution to this plot line in the quest that lets you not only stop his addiction brought on by his parents treatment of him but also help the three of them work out their problems. This quest has the entire game setting it up for you and there are plenty more side quests like this as well, the one with Jess and the two siblings to name another.
Mechant ??? Should be on top 10 !!! Underrated Meraphor MERCHANTAZIO !!!
I like tycoon but I feel like merchant just is kinda rough in combat with a bunch of these skills. I do however like all the extra gold
I thought trails 3, cold steel 4 and reverie made it so you can play 70 different characters and it was tedious. Having to swap out orbments and equipment every hour was super frustrating haha. I remember complaining about that on reddit and got downvoted into oblivion.
I kinda see the appeal of the big roster I like all the micromanagement of having to customize all these characters I just need it to be fleshed out sufficiently. But I can kinda see where you’re coming from as well. Leave it to the trails subbreddit to downvote any and all somewhat differing opinions
Gunner lineage is my least favorite of them all. The only thing I really like is being able to attack at range from the overworld. Impossible to be ambushed when main protagonist is equipped with a Gunner. But overall, it just sucks.
Yeah I’ll admit the ranged action field combat was kinda neat. I was frankly horrible at the action combat so that actually might have been useful for me lol
Idk if it was a glitch, or if it was just wording but the skills that said "once per battle" does not really mean once per battle. I can use Charge and Hyper again, but you must attack before you're able to. I played on Hard mode on PC and just tested this to confirm. I've been able to spam charge on Prince Archetype MC and two shot most of the bosses.
@@weepingblade its not a bug just really bad wording that lies.
Yeah I did end up realizing about that after making the video. That’s so weird how it’s written like that
I got HELLA use out of hiesmays thief lineage especially late game when his agility is through the roof and he has the passive skill to remove all enemy turns when they miss
I do think it’s really strong by that point I just feel like the pre-requisite for all that is kinda rough and comes into play too late
Me personally i think the whole argument you have for trickster and faker is kinda wonky see what if, and it's a big if, the enemy blocks/repels your debuff attack? It'd be a waste of a turn to just inflict a weakness for that debuff attack wouldn't it? Also yeah all Royal lineage archetypes are unlocked at the end of the game for how busted they are have you seen Royal berserker kill Louis by himself? I believe that there is a really really good reason you get them late the only one i think is not even that good by itself would be Royal fighter and even then there are a lot of ways to make it work, in my personal opinion warlord isn't even worth it if you already have the two formation skills inherited from it also Royal summoner has the best revive skill and better summons that the normal summoner so... Yeah i don't agree with most of your list but it's ok we just don't value the same things.... Price is defo #1
I just feel like with how late they come in they are just hard to call as useful because most of the bosses you can’t use or rely on them. I do think that they’re strong but I wanted to at least keep availability in mind when making the list. That and spreading them out more gave the list a little more variety I feel like
Yeah we don't have the same views specially with prince considering the moment you get him you can start melting human bosses with his synthesis now i know it's late but you still can use price out of all the other Royal archetypes the fastest and I get it at that point the game is already ending but... It's just that most other archetypes do their jobs but none is as flexible as prince not even the seeker line if something I think the previous two archetypes of the Comander line are better than warlord for their availability and usefulness that an faker with those two and probably samurai you can beat most things with peerless stone cleaver maybe throw in sniper or dragon if ya really want, over all i kinda see your point but we still have diferent views
Really, I don’t think this list is bad, I just think you’re a tad bit too harsh on the some of the classes, especially the Royal Classes. Rule of thumb for any ability in a JRPG you get in the final hours of the game: They are probably the last powers you get in the game for a very good reason. As someone who also went for a magic build for the protagonist, my response was mainly just making the protagonist a Jack of All Trades (because that’s what he is) and just leave the more generalize stat builds to the other characters. IMO, all of the Royal Archetypes are some of the strongest Archetypes in the game (Warlord is just busted though with Dynast Formation, but I digress). Prince is meant for the final fights in the game because most of the enemies you fight in the endgame are humans, Prince has attacks that destroy Human enemies. Prince in general does everything the Seeker linage does but better. And really, there are plenty of enemies left to fight before the endgame where you have plenty of time to max the Follower Ranks, plenty of which like Strohl, should have been maxed out long ago. And as much as I agree that Warlord is OP, many of the Classes here are also unlocked late into the game, and arguably later than Prince, so… IDK. I do agree with Thief being the worst class, but Heismay’s Speed is one of the things that makes Warlord on him the best to use.
I definitely agree with you in the sense that I really do think that the royal archetypes are strong, but idk in my mind I feel like I have to at least knock a couple points off for their limited availability. Like they’re so strong but pretty much 95% of what the game is asking you to do, they’re just unavailable. Not that I’m detracting their usefulness for the endgame, but even then at that point, I feel like I already had a pretty strong set up that I was confident in. If there was a little bit more end/postgame content for them to be used in, I would definitely place them higher, but outside of the tower trials and the final human gauntlet I just didn’t feel like they brought anything to the table outside of that Prince is so fucking busted though yeah I had to put that all the way up lol
Wat, how can you agree about Thief being the worst? “Plunder Magic” is my counter-argument
Tales of Arixe is my favorite one!
I really like it too!
Merchant is pretty strong id say the glaze is earned. Gold Attack has a base 35% Crit Chance and works amazingly well with Skills you get in the early game like Heat Up and Diligent Discipline. Its also a strategy that works for pretty much every battle since its Almighty and its self sufficient with how much money you get from the overworld. Not really about Merchant but iirc this game uses the same formula as P3R when comparing Luck for Crit Chance.
Merchant was such an important class to me early on in the game. And since Tycoon becomes an incredibly important class later on, Merchant was an essential class for many of my characters to master
Healer is so bad, lol.
Its best role for having strike for that one fight before Brawler is funny.
Healer lineage is crucial to inherit skills from. If you disagree, it's safe to say you haven't played on hard or regicide.
items and Seeker work well enough. I only really ever used inherited Hama from it for like 3 fights total.
It's your only source of dekunda though
@@M1sterE321 I fully played on hard but go on. It's only needed for skill transfer
I took the trickster debuffs and put them on my ninja. It was nice having a character that could steal, then concentrate on defuffing while having an amazing dodge chance
This guy's bottom tiers are all S tier lol (except for gunner, that lineage is kinda trash)
At least we can agree on that!
I think the Faker lines and Thief lines placements are kind of weird. Thief and its lineage is by far the only viable dodge tanker so it’s automatically good because dodging basically skips turns (2 at first and all with equipment at the magic shop) for most of the early/mid bosses. You don’t need Royal Thief. Just debuffing and buffing is enough in most cases. In my experience, the thief lineage can literally dodge the superbosses to death as they don’t have a “cheat” mechanic to really deal with it effectively. The damage doesn’t matter if you gain net turns against a enemy. “The skills are bad!” Yeah, but we don’t talk about how the Knight does no damage without Synthesis for most of the game. Meanwhile the Assassin can debuff and also attack at the same time with its starting skill. Steal is also fine because you don’t have to steal constantly. The argument that you steal mostly status effect items is ridiculous because I’m pretty sure you can steal healing and mp items. Or maybe that you don’t need to steal boss items cuz you get exclusive weapons from elite enemies. Speaking of net turns, the Faker’s rng is a joke. You can literally restart any battle if you roll bad to gain the maximum amount of turns. It’s not hard and you want to deal as much setup and damage on first turn anyways. The only thing it is bad at is normal squad battles, but just feed it exp leaves or have a really strong farming class to pick up the slack. No flame, I think you undervalue a lot of game mechanics that are part of the meta. Unless you are desperately struggling on normal enemies, the bosses matter much more. As such, the Thief and Faker are valuable against most of the bosses. It requires a lot of planning sure, but it’s optimal. Nothing against you bro, that’s just my two cents
Thank you for leaving a comment explaining what you disagree with rather than just calling me wrong lol, because reading and hearing about other players perspectives and experiences was something that I was really looking forward to when making the video, and I really do appriciate hearing your opinion on my list and the classes. While I don't entirely agree with everything you said it is refreshing to actually have more of a dialouge about it, and it gives me a better chance to maybe explain why I placed where I placed, and some more of my thought process. And this is not me trying to explain why I think I'm objectively right, or that you're wrong, but rather just using the comment section as a way to have a discussion about the game and the balancing. I will definitley admit that I might have undervalued the thief a little bit in terms of it's dodge tanking potential, and that's def something I'll keep in mind to try if I ever play through the game again. And like I said I wasn't able to equally try out every single class in every situation so I am glad that people are letting me know about that, but I still do feel like in terms of what I found to be the most successful party lineup in the game, it just didn't really have as much of a place. I ended up finding a lot more success in regular peel tanking with party wide buffs and enemy debuffs. I haven't truly tried the dodge tanking lineup as much as I fully could have, but in my impressions when researching and writing the script it really felt like yeah that's solid, but it doesn't in theory at least in my mind stack up quite as much, because there are a lot of bosses with multitarget attacks that I think that the dodge tanker couldn't protect the rest of the party from as well. And I think generally a lot of the classes that I did place lower are the ones that just get outclassed by other classes that just do the things better, so even if thief is good at tanking, in my experience in my first playthrough I just had so much more success with other things, and maybe yeah there is a little bit of bias built in there, and that's definitely something to keep in mind for future playthroughs. The reason that I feel that assassin, or more specifically, assassinate isn't as good is because I feel like the game gives so much incredible access to enemy party wide debuffing that anything that was single target debuff just was inherently valued lower in my head, because in my mind it covers any situation a little better, and that's why I have things like soul hacker and summoner closer to the top. My mind will definitely never change on faker though probably, most of the skills are just on so many other classes with other added benefits, aside from maybe debiliate, but even then that's still not as good or efficient as other classes like once again the summoner, or literally any other class that has access to debuffs on attacks. On the topic of the rng move I probably will never change my mind on that either as anything where you have to rely on getting lucky, even if you technically CAN reroll over and over again is something that I feel like is just inherently not as good as the things that you can count on and plan on consistently working as intended. The main thing though yeah I completely agree with you on is how the regular encounter enemies don't matter in the slightest. Those battles are literally decided by who stuns who in the active combat, and the literal only times I ever game overed in this game were because some random enemy hit me in the field, so my rankings are for the most part ranked based on their performance in boss battles, and the ones better for the regular. encounters are just inherently placed lower.
Merchant being #45.. Sir hold my 4 tycoon gold rush with berserker and warrior attack boosting abilities With the the the merchant ultimate weapon…
No, I definitely think tycoon rocks, like you said gold rush is just an INSANE skill. But I can’t really say the same thing about merchant unfortunately
@ I was joking, I get you. But through my first play through being hard. Farming and getting money is all it was good for early game
Warload is the best magic damage
Love me some warlord
I think that the reason why the reception was poor is also because Atlus said that this game was supposed to be somewhat of a "third pillar", somewhat of a new main ip to push onwards together with SMT and Persona. The scenes in the trailers (that are not into the game) also make me think that maybe this game was initially supposed to be a high priority project like SMT and Persona, but for whatever reason they decided to slash the budget, meaning the devs had to compensate somehow. That would also explain why basic features weren't there: the devs having to work with less money means that they needed more time to actually add things to the game, with some of those not making it in time and being absent from the game at launch. Of course, it's just a theory, and I'm not sure if it has some basis or not
Yeah I can definitely see that. Unfortunately I wasn’t around during the marketing phase so I never saw the trailer exclusive cutscenes that you’re talking about, so I am going to check those out now. I really do wish this game did better financially and critically because I really do think there is a good game here, and its failure might discourage atlus from doing stuff like this anymore, and limiting a lot of their big releases to persona spin offs and one mainline game a decade. Also nice profile picture by the way!
Wow. Immediately wrong.
I definitely can’t or won’t pretend like my list is 100% objective or factual, but I am curious what in particular you disagree with
Yes, Thief is so important. Plunder Magic makes dungeon runs possible without wasting many days. Steal on normal enemies can result in rly great weapons and equipment procured. The class itself may suck to play as but the inherited skills are ESSENTIAL. It is the only class all my 8 characters have at least 13rank to. It is an essential class imo. To see it ranked at the bottom def was not a good start for the video for me. Also crazy to me to see Paladin ranked so low. The counter skills become very important to use against bosses that have so much turns
Assassin is fantastic midgame, the damage is fine and that stacking hit and dodge debuff is a lifesaver And hyper isnt once per battle, you can use it as often as you want, it was just bad wording because the buff wears off after it is used. And heismay is literally the best tank in the game....far from the worst character. This tier list 😂😂😂😂
That is good to know about hyper thank you for correcting me. And yeah I totally agree with heismay having some INCREDIBLE utility with royal thief, but with unlocking it literally so late into the game I just really didn’t get much use out of him
@JakeGigs it isnt just royal theif though knights proclaimation, naturally high agi and agi buffs or debuffs. Buy dodger ring as early as possible and heismay becomes the best tank then and there.
Calling healer bad because of strike weakness while giving the commander line the top spots. This tier list is being made by big Commander! Ninja S tier fans we have to rise up! Seriously what's wrong with Medi and Medica? How are you meant to buy armor when you spend 200k on full party medium heals? Nice video by the way!
I definitley feel as if commander has infinitley better stats and skills, notably things like heartbreak strategem, as well as one of the strong combo pieces through vigor formation, and its synthesis skills are some of the best support abilities in the game, so I'm way more lenient towards its strike weakness. I also just think the healer line in the game is not very good. Same with like faker where on paper its not that bad, but when there are just classes in the game that do it's job just as well, if not better, as well as in general providing a lot more, it just makes them feel borderline useless. In the healing department I personally got a lot more useage out of the cheap healing items paired with item connoisseur, and even outside of that there are quite a decent amount of healing skills on other classes. Magic Knight's Mediline specifically pairs extrememely well with a lot of the formation spam. It's definitely not that I feel like healer is unusable, the only unusable class I would genuinely have to say is the early thief line, but it's just so pointless, as well as having these big weaknesses.
single strongest demo in ages for any JRPG...soundtrack is a banger, let's you start game on Hard, good story, Majora's Mask time mechanics + Persona + SMT [9.5/10]
Atlus going to high fantasy is always PEAK
tfw I prefer the party in Bravely second's demo than the party in the game.
Really? While I love Yew and Magnolia, I never really cared for Janne and Nikolai all that much. Edea became my favorite character in the series thanks to a lot of her growth and characterization in the side quests, and I honestly couldn’t imagine the game without her
@@JakeGigs idk I liked the vibe of the party. Edea is easily the best character but making a new game with only 2 new playable characters is kinda sad I think. Nikolaï Yew and Jeanne had this whole three musketeers aesthetics and I think the party could have been neat. Who knows tho it could have been terrible.
@forseti5774 no I definitely see your point, and perhaps my opinion comes from I played the full game first and the demo afterwards so my opinion on them was already locked in by the time I played the demo. I can easily see it having been a good party for the full game though, but I still am not upset with what ended up happening either
Unicorn overlord was amazing. Sure if you stop at every single fight to optimize your party to counter the specific party you're up against you can beat everything perfectly, but that's not being an hardcore player, that's having way too much free time. Like sure some of my squads were a bit too strong but I just used them less to compensate. I also feel like internet is a bit the bane of that sort of games Because so many players will look up online the optimized parties and way to play, then use them and complain that the game is too easy. For me figuring out the meta is half the fun of a single player strategy game, if you ask internet to do it for you this is no different than looking up the answers of a puzzle game. I went in UO blind, tried to play in high difficulty without using the rez items, and I think the difficulty was fine. Maybe I could have beat it a lot more easily by spending hours minmaxing squads and looking up tricks online, but for my method it was just hard enough to feel challenged without spending hours resetting levels until luck comes my way like in the most "hardcore" of old fire emblems. I don't think difficulty should mind grind or ridiculous amount of resets required for rng to be on your side,
I definitely did not look up anything online I like to play stuff blind, and the problem was’t that I didn’t have to optimize my party every fight. The problem more felt so that I made a couple squads early on, and they pretty much worked as an all purpose counter for every single encounter. I agree, having to change everything every single fight would be a little ridiculous, but at least every chapter would’ve been nice to make me feel a little more engaged.
Great video and great perspective, just very funny how your rankings are almost opposite of how I feel most of the base ranks them. The mark of a great series is how it appeals to different tastes
Yeah, that is definitely something I’ve noticed based on a lot of comments lol. But yeah, I totally agree with how it’s cool that the same list of games can have totally different rankings across different individuals
I'd say peak. Loving the art style
Same here!
I bought this at launch. And yeah it was tedious. The movement was so slow
I couldn’t even imagine having to play through it at walking speed the whole time
@@JakeGigs it was torture. And I did all those pointless side quests too. Guess I hate myself haha. And after I was done with the game they anounce the patch. I was so mad haha
The job system makes me want bravely default on the ps5 even more 😩😩
Maybe one day!
game is gonna be 7/10 max and will be forgotten once p6 comes out
All the critics are going to give it a 10/10. That’s usually a very bad sign.
I guess time will tell, but personally I think I’ll be way more into this
9/10*
@@andrebaxter4023 nothing about this game is extraordinary, plot is not groundbreaking, character design is okay, graphics are okay enemies are okay, music is good, its a typical above average game tahts it
@@tellheryouloveher Tell that to Baldurs Gate 3
Still don't think that a silent protagonist cannot have an arc. Joker and Makoto both clearly have an arc, it's just tied to the players emotional implication and understanding of the game and so people who keep distancing themselves from the game cannot properly appreciate it. That being said, a more specific protagonist with his own voice is appreciated variety from this studio
I think you definitely raise a good point, and I didn’t necessarily mean persona specifically. I do feel like persona is the one time where the protagonist should be silent because of what you said and how just it’s supposed to be the players self insert in the lifesim aspect as well. I more so meant like I don’t think it necessarily serves a lot of their other games very well.
"Holy weak" Persona 6 will be better
I certainly hope not!
I loved it, i was so exciting just reading the memorandum, the story i think is going to be fantastic and has lots, lots of potentials to incredible plot twists. I loved smt, devil survivor, dds, strange redux and my fav SMT IV. I feel really good about this one, something I didn't feel with SMT V or Persona 5. I think the comparation with old games its not the best thing to do, as things changes and maybe is for the best. Not saying anything about fusions, I think this guys know what they're doing and until i have 50+ hours i'll keep my thoughts on that one.
btw all of the UI could be in an art gallery, no way it is that beautiful.
Yeah I kinda feel like I have the same thoughts as you. I completely agree with the idea that yeah I really do think they absolutely know what they’re doing
Absolutely love this game. I play plenty of RPG but when it comes to turn base only game actually put time on is Pokémon which I love but this game is peak. I already put solid 12 hours in demo and restarted from the beginning when I was finished on my campaign in the demo the first time And the music just hits hard. It is a melody on my ears. Around 2024 I have been more interest in atlus persona series and especially metaphor, considering I love my fantasy settings of course besides metaphor demo I did play persona 3 the PSP version on a emulator personally want get persona 3 reload
I might actually replay the demo myself as well!
Also nice they step away from Highschool
Im glad they get rid off 100ths of this monsters and fusions.
I might miss it a little cannot lie
Played 9 hours, can't wait for the full release!
We’re getting closer!
I love it! Played the demo on hard and it’s actually quite challenging which made me excited. My main problems are the constant loading screens and my god stop auto switching my equipment whenever I swap archetypes!!!! I don’t get why they do it, I want evade for example on my healer Will, but it was constantly putting on a different pair of boots whenever I made him a mage. Also the fact that you have to sit through enemy animations every time is a bit exhausting when you know that you can’t win the battle.
