Loved this recap! I just recently got my first skein of Forbidden Fiber Co floss, so I'm definitely interested in exploring more of their options, especially that OOAK one! How gorgeous!

Finally got to watch your Flosstube and see all the details on that fabulous stocking. It's amazing! I love the personalizations. Fantastic work. I finished the last part of your Flosstube on the big screen TV while trying to put up my tree. Your haul was huggggeeeee! 😂 Yes, and the fabric size is an issue. I am still upset I spent so much time stitching a pattern on pre-printed fabric but the dyer shortened their 1/8 yard by an inch and it totally won't get me the same look as the called for size would. We should really get what we are expecting and pay for.

It sounds like it was a great retreat, with a lot of good sight seeing sprinkled in, glad you were able to go this year! Forbidden fibers colors were all amazing!

Just love hearing about your retreat - you live such an exciting stithy life - wish I was younger and able to participate in a retreat, although I’ve been checking the classes at Hobby House lately, which is nearby, so possibly next year I might sign up for one of their classes. The forbidden floss looks beautiful.

Enjoyed hearing your retreat recap, sounds like a lot of fun. I have never been to a retreat, don't know of any close to where I live in Louisiana, so may just have to travel to get to go to one. The Forbidden Threads are so pretty, I really like the OOAK #53 but would be happy with any of them.

Great recap of the retreat. Philly is fun to visit. Visited Memphis by flying to Nashville, rented a car for the week & saved money vs flying to Memphis. Forbidden threads one of a kind. Enjoy your weekend! 🎉❤

I was dying to know the conclusion of the stocking. Congrats on the big finish! It turned out lovely. Can't believe how many other finishes you had. Great job. It was nice hearing that you don't love putting projects together to start. It's always been stressful for me, but everyone always seems to be starting stuff, so I felt like a weirdo. Thanks also for the tip to always measure my fabric.

I’m a new follower of your channel, and already I must bow to your excellent stitching abilities as evidenced by Brooks’s stocking! Holy Cow! That thing is a flat masterpiece! I don’t know how you did it. I’m very impressed by everything else you’re doing as well, but that stocking is unbelievable. I love that you’re into needlepoint- so am I, at least as much as I can afford. It can be a little pricey. Would you share with me the name if the needlepoint shop you use and do they have a web site? I really enjoyed your Flosstube and we’ll see you in the next one!

I stitched a Hummel stocking for my dad; if the designer is the same, they stitch up quickly and easily. It sounds like you had a wonderful retreat; I'm just back from this years' Queen City retreat and had another wonderful weekend too. Just being in the same room with people who "get" stitching is so inspiring, relaxing and energizing all at the same time! 🪡👠

So sorry you took the covid home,but glad you are better. It was so nice meeting and hanging out with you and all the table mates. Hooray the stocking was finished make sure you show us the finished product. Take care

Sarah so sorry for the Covid, but now you are all better!! I went to Weekend 1 and got sick also…the air conditioning constantly blowing on me. I was a table 10. Your biscornu was beautiful…now I know to check out Tiny Modernist for tutorial! Thank you for sharing information on your videos that is helpful to me! Oh, 1more thing…the parking charge $25 a day was a bit high. I will not be attending next year either. HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2024!!

Gosh, Sarah! I'm so sorry you got sick after the retreat. I enjoyed following your Oregon trip on IG and look forward to your video. The Stitching in the Wild Retreat was awesome! It was so nice to spend a bit more time with you and I look forward to stitching Once Upon A Midnight Dreary with you. I also got the 32 count Silver Fox fabric and that is what Gary used for the model as well. I think we'll be fine with it. I'm ready when you are so you just let me know. Tammy did an amazing job on your finishes, too. I knew about her bags but didn't know she also finishes cross stitch projects.

If that Brooks Books Oz chart ever gets passed I would love to be considered.
