I have lost five dogs now, and I miss them all so much. The latest was my Ellie, Great Pyrenees mix. After I lost my brother and husband the same year, Ellie was my emotional support animal. And I was her emotional support person. I actually asked my doctor for a 'prescription' and Ellie and I went everywhere together after that. She developed cancer and K-State Vet Teaching University tried to save her. I was staying in a motel to be near, and woke up at 3:00 on the morning calling"Ellie, what's wrong?" 15 minutes later K-State phoned me; they had been doing CPR for 15 minutes. I will always believe she woke me to say goodbye.

Little Jo, I hope that your dad does become a famous musician and that his project will be a most resounding success. I remember all of the cats that I had and loved and all of the dogs and cats that my friends and relatives had and loved. We all miss our animals who have left their earthly existence and are comforted by knowing that we will meet up with them again in the afterlife.

I lost my T-Cup Chihuahua in April 14, 2024, he was so handsome his color was white paws a white wife beater and white around his 😊nose and the rest golden brown, I miss him, I also lost my husband it's going to be 4 years Sept 3, 2020. Its like one thing after another, still waiting for my SSI DISABILITY

In a little more than a years time I have lost 5 of my beloved fur babies. The last 4 I was there the minute they were born. I've tried to be with them all in their last moments, but life gets in the way sometimes. Each one holds a special place in my heart, and I'll remember them for always.

I am a little older and have had 6 cats that have gone over the rainbow bridge and have two wonderful fur babies still here, what a reunion we will all have.

Not the least bit religious never have been that being said if an after life exists without dogs then what’s the point? A treasured companion is worth more than gold be it dog cat bird as long as it is loved.

Their quality of unwavering faith and love for human realy deserves them to go to heaven, where they are expected to unite with human again in love.

That's all very nice but there's no mention of the unfortunate dogs who never knew the love of a human family. They deserve a heaven too where they can finally experience what they were tragically denied here on earth. Their appreciation would be strongest of all.

Indi went to heaven on memorial day at age 16. He was a great doggie -- he was found in a supermarket's parking lot as a puppy and lived a wonderful life. You are greatly missed. Your memory is already a blessing 💙

I lost my Maggie six months ago. She was my sweetie-pie. She would dictate when we went for walks, which was four to five times every day - rain or shine. I love her and miss her so much. God is letting her have lots of fun until i arrive, one day in the future.

My cats love me as much as my dog does. No animal’s ability and depth to love should be discounted. GOD bless all the precious animals on the earth and in Heaven.

The day will come that I will once again see my PUKA BEAR and Lady Bug and little Bandit. All were great dogs in their own way. Each made my life better in many ways, and each brought not just smiles but much laughter and happiness as well. Many tears were shed over each one when I had to let them go, I was there holding each one as they slipped away and crossed the bridge. I will see them again and be able to run and p,as the way we used to.
