How did you drive the car home after purchasing? You cannot drive without registration and insurance. You skipped the insurance, purchase tax, and registration cost. Not to mention a lot of states in US only allow a few cars to be sold by regular people with retail dealer's license.

Two things: 1 - ALWAYS count your labor costs. Be sure to use a realistic hourly rate for someone you'd be willing to pay to do the services you performed. Why? So that when you grow, you're already factoring in the cost of that (future) employee; and for reason 2 below. 2 - Your profit numbers are not as accurate without the cost of labor and tools/materials. Perhaps on a "per flip basis" the cost of tools/materials is too volatile, but on an annual or quarterly basis you can come up with a decent average. I understand this is NOT an business accounting video. However, I mention this so that you can take the business aspect of what you do to the next level. By "tools/materials" I mean needing to buy that vaccum cleaner you mentioned, or detailing brushes, etc. I don't mean what you already mentioned, like the air filters, oil, etc.
