BI Book Club: Chatter by Ethan Kross
In this month's BI Book Club, we're going to focus less on data visualization and analytics and more on mental health. Working in data can be stressful: Complex requirements, tight deadlines, and unique data challenges! And don't even get me started on the stress of job-hunting. This book is a fantastic resource for people who are struggling with self-doubt or who recognize that sometimes the negative, pessimistic voice within our minds isn't productive. One book doesn't have all the answers of course but Chatter has tons of useful examples, tools, and science to help you understand what contributes to our sense of self, the internal monologue within us, why it goes off the rails, and how to regain control when negative emotions take the wheel!

you are the best Reporting and Visualization export i have come across. This is really a great support to the community from your side. That all the so much valuable information is available via your channel. Thanks for educating us and keep doing such great work. I would request if you can make a project on Power BI with SQL server where data gets refreshed may be monthly or twice a month and the report get updated. May be not free but you may share it with any sort of paid features. etc.

I've always understood that having your layout be a canvas image instead of rending all the individual elements in Power BI itself was an awesome, easy way to get load times down but this takes layout design to the next level. Very cool, Sean. Thanks for posting this.

Hi Sean, this playlist has been extremely helpful for me to add something beautiful in my portfolio. Thanks for all the detailed videos. In this particular video, I was just wondering why did we create the measure - Average Daily Sales = AVERAGEX(VALUES('Forecast Date Table'[Date]),[Total Sales]) and then used that inside of Average Daily Sales 2 = CALCULATE([Average Daily Sales],ALLSELECTED('Forecast Date Table'[Date])) Instead could we just directly create Average Daily Sales = AVERAGEX(ALLSELECTED('Forecast Date Table'[Date]),[Total Sales]) which is exactly the same as Average Daily Sales 2, that is being used further to get the forecast value. Please correct me if I am missing out on anything here. Thanks.
