This guy would be amazing for many roles. Peter Parker, Harry Potter and everything.
There was no background music in the original film. It was just silent as Fox spoke.
Acatone
He was going to play James Cagney. That would've been something. It's really too bad Cagney died before they could do it.
Swoosie had a good "drunk scene" in Agains All Odds, a few years earlier.
I like these films he did between the back to the futures he really tried different things
ゲッツ!って言うか!? 😂
FACE OF JESUS CHRIST
Towa is one of my favorite songwriter producers ever!
MJF's best film.
nah, that's Doc Hollywood
@@aliali-ce3yf Doc Hollywood was horrible i saw it recently, turned it off halfway through.
Letterman has always been a knob
Hillies do coke in Alabama.
Midwestern bitch!
Oscar worthy performance
MEGA
FBA
Such a great actor , i feel so sorry for his parkinson desease
Musical Genius!
He is so ready to play!
I also have never heard of a Jigger. Who’s playing the Flying V guitar? It’s too bad that he never played live any other songs from the “Fresh” album. I saw him in ‘75 and it was the same greatest hits deal.
Probably some of the most fun Paul Shaffer ever had on Late Night.
That's the FUNKIEST that Studio stage has ever BEEN! and there's been some seriously funky people there!!!
Coked to the gills.
Greatness
Steve Jordan’s having a good time on the drums lol
Young Steve Jordan kills it on drums.
I love this film. Im a huge fan of mjf anyway but this film in particular shows how subtle and on point he can be with a characters story. I feel like this right now in 2023 and although ive always liked this film its never become more apparent how spot on he was depicting these emotions. Anyone underrating this film either hasn't fully watched it or hasn't been through what Michaels character has.
Michael j fox what an actor. So much of this scene resonates with me in 2023 he really nails it. Loved him in the 80s for bttf and teen wolf but little gems like this were over my head back then.
Who is playing Bass in this performance?
It becomes what you make of it
this setting feels like a place that wpuld exist in my dreams
Love sly, and the stone.!!
Family ties and back to the future only hinted at his dramatic chops. This is the 1st time he was able to really show what he was capable of, and did he hit it out of the park. Too bad that he got parkinson's. I think there would have been some really good dramas in the 90s.
Dave being a goof Missed a great opportunity to do a proper interview with the great Sly Stone
Thee most beautifuuuul smile.
A musical genius
God this monologue is so fucking hard... It could've gone a million different melodramatic, cliche, self pity party ways in the hands of someone less intelligent and less sensitive than Michael but his brilliant choice to play it like she's not really there with him makes this whole inner dialogue heartbreaking. You love him instead of feeling sorry for him and it takes one hell of an actor in order to seperate these two sentiments. He's fucking gorgeous.
You should never judge somebody's personality or intelligence
the guy is genuine , its 2023 and i'll still pay to watch Sly.
A LEGEND!!
Never has a musician with so much talent and influence squandered so much in so much time. Hendrix, Morrison, Joplin, Brian Jones, etc died before they could give it all away. It's a shame Stone was basically ruined by drugs. The world needed his music to continue.
thank sony for taking all his money , cause he's off the drugs and alcohol , still performing at 80 yr old .
He’s still with us folks!! The uncle/stepfather to the creativity inside the mind/body/soul of PRINCE!! Rip 0-(+> 🙏🏽
Paul Shaffer should've been replaced by this guy for both musicianship and side comment entertainment.
5:35 to 5:40 the wine disappeared lol
Fast drinker
wooooo! Sly Stone singing my favorite song !
1983 man I wish I could go back in time. I'd go back to 1983 in a minute
It’s crazy how I find Megan to be the sexiest woman in the entire movie up to this point. Something about how loving and nurturing makes so attractive
i resemble him (uh,,oh) i would not get married to that girl... the second girl yes, and they did....she could see into his soul. and the scenes of he and his mother dying of cancer coma baby i wish more people knew about this film
Legendary
Great interview
