    I have had my locs for 8yrs and counting. I tried palm rolling but my hair doesn't keep locked for more than a few days with it and the build up is another story. I currently use crotchet with interlocking method and its been working well for me.

    I believe locs are becoming more accepted and popular now, especially the manicured ones. I see ladies with locs almost every other day. But then again, it's the manicured ones. I think that everything just boils down to how our mind has been conditioned.

    I dont understand when people say locs was not popular.... I grew up seeing a lot of Rastafarians in Jamaica.... I dont consider myself a Rastafarian .... The trend of cultivated locs wearing was not popular and information to start maintain and getting it to look a certain way was not readily available
