Those are the rear arms. You may not need to to have the weight off the wheels but it wil be far easier if you do

Hi, this is a great! My 2009 1.6hdi Tourer (non-hydraulic suspension) has failed MoT on the larger bushes in rear lower suspension control arms, and I’m working out how to replace both. At 32:30 in your vid. You’re replacing front (I think) arms but I can’t pick out whether you show the rears being fitted. Any advice on that? May be a dumb question, but could rear arms be replaced with the suspension under load on drive-on ramps, or would wheels need to be jacked? Many thanks.

In my T-Jet engine, the crank oil seal doesn't leak: the oil comes out of the six threaded holes for the flywheel bolts. They go straight through the crank flange, into the crank case. So that might explain the oil on the flywheel: removing the flywheel with some oil left in the engine.

I would like a sewing machine as seats are ridiculous to get trimmed and if you can swop an engine, sewing seat material would be a piece of piss 😂👍🇮🇪 Im currently struggling to get a wishbone bolt out, seems to have welded itself in place, came out about an inch and then jammed solid, won't go in or out, think the grinder will be used tomorrow (vw polo 2007 drivers side)

The wear on the steering wheel is due to people (usually men) holding the steering wheel in the 'gay man's driving position' - very firmly at the top of the wheel with their right hand with their elbow resting on the window. It wears the coating away quicker.

Just worth noting, if you lube up the poly bush, apply ptfe tape/teflon tape to the bush and then lube on top of that its supposed to stop the squeaking. I'm fitting poly bushes on my ford ka (fiat 500 underneath) and doing this when I fit them so we'll see if that helps. Good video

Why can't I jack the car up. Lower it onto it get the read and adjust while it's on the plate? Like the turn plates on a tracking ramp. Then buy 2 and do both wheels at the same time.
