You may not believe this your ambulance that you are living in is the medic unit I used at my fire department, Forest Park FIre department outside of Cincinnati 😂😂😂

Did you make or purchase all of the cabinets and drawers, overhead and in the kitchen? Also, where did you get those latches?
@@tomchan2901 I made everything inside myself. I framed everything with extruded aluminum and then faced/finished with wood. These are the latches I used: amzn.to/3YWrSdF

@keySkullghost ours was 2wd and we converted it to 4wd. Well worth the money for us! We use progressive and haven't had any issues for 2 years now.

Would you buy again? Pros cons
@Kayakmom9 yes, I would. They are a great universal boat that we've used in the ocean, bay, rivers, creeks and more. It's super stable, portable and just overall works really well. Bote customer service is outstanding too. The biggest downside is the weight. They are a bit heavy.
@@EmergencyGetaway thank you! Well I’m 55 so getting harder to tote stuff about but I think I could add wheels or get a wagon to help with that. I think I may return large paddle board I ordered and look at this more. I think I’d get some Texas winter use out of this more.

I have a peddle for a hard kayak. The hard kayaks are just to heavy for me to load and unload anymore and I miss going out. wondering if the one I have would work?

Look at the ground. There is no extra shade
It does provide really good shade and rain cover. The sun in this video was low so it didn't do much.

You could probably make it work but they're designed for one. I beleive they have a 2 seater version on their site though

I am eventually going to be purchasing a retired Ambulance in the not to distant future, and have watching these Videos about doing various Ambulance to RV/Tiny Home Conversions, and I have to say, I love your Shower idea. It's the best Shower Idea yet that I have seen. But I also see more than 95% of the Ambulance to RV Conversions with the bed across the back doors. This may sound a bit crazy, but I am not in favor of that bed design for safety reasons. What happens if you are cooking dinner, and God forbid the unthinkable happens in the event of a fire that begins to consume the front, and side wall where your kitchen is, and it blocks your side door ? Now you have no choice but to go out the back, but have to climb over the bed to escape. That could be time consuming if your back doors are closed due to winter weather outside. Maybe it's just the Firefighter/EMT side of me, but when I finally do my Ambulance Conversion, the bed will be created from the bench seat that's already built in so that I can still have 2 quick ways of egress in the unwanted event of a fire. Just my 2 cents.

I put my shower right there as well and I went with a 8 gallon black tank on Amazon I believe was about 160 bucks
We went with a 14 gallon grey tank and it works well. I may upgrade to a 20 gallon at some point though for a little extra during city camping times. We don't run a black tank since we have a compositing toilet.

It pulls about 45 to 55 amps when compressor is running. More than I'd like but still works well when we need it

It was already that big. Just removed the cabinets and were good to go.
