    Great work! In terms of ZM ideas, you could do a tutorial on a ductway piece? Or even a tutorial on additional graphic additions like posters and graffiti.

    Very clever design. I got a cheap airbrush myself a few years ago and it's a game changer. For terrain especially, it's so nice being able to lay down base coats, and some quick broad sweeps colouring/lighting/weathering effects smoothly and so easily.

      Thanks pal. Yep, couldn't agree more about the airbrush. I'm happy even if I just use it for priming and basecoating.

    Looking good! You must have a good board's worth of terrain now. An overview of it all laid out might make a good easy vid if you ever don't have time for a project but want to put something out. Have you thought of a way to make stairs? GW never includes enough of them in their kits and they are such an interesting and useful part for making twisting, weaving pathways.

    Casting these would make sense. Large, relatively detail free, a few miscast errors wouldn't matter as they'd just be battle damage. Then adding posters, air vents, lights etc to all the casts for some variety afterwards maybe?

    • @SJsCraftingWorld
      @SJsCraftingWorld 17 днів тому

      Absolutely possible. They do take a while to make and if you wanted a table full, it would be quicker to cast loads. Easy to make a few extra details as well.

    Nice addition to the arch pieces to give them some more layout options. The shorter format was fine for this size project, and probably will work for larger builds if you can split them logically into sections and if you're pressed for time of course go with what works for you. If you do split larger projects, it might be worth forming the parts into a playlist for future watches.

  • @SweenyMarc
    @SweenyMarc Місяць тому

    2 videos in one week?! I'd not heard of diamond painting before so just looked it up. Interesting, but basically the same thing as you're doing now. It's wax on the tip of a "pen", that you dip on to the rivet, then push the rivet onto glue on the surface. I suspect it being a pen would make it easier than using a tooth pick, but you could probably just use a pen with a ball of blue tack on the end to get the same result! Also, to me it looks like the glue used in diamond painting is very tacky, so it easily pulls the piece off the end of the pen. Super glue seems to work okay pulling the rivet off your toothpick so I guess it has enough grab.

    • @SJsCraftingWorld
      @SJsCraftingWorld Місяць тому

      Yeah, on a bit of a roll! Ah, thanks for clarifying the diamond painting. Hmmm, not so sure it's with it then..

    • @SweenyMarc

      @@SJsCraftingWorld Might still be worth looking into if the sets are cheap, it's just not quite the magic fix to the rivet problem I hoped! Also, I got carried away in my last post talking about diamond painting I forgot to say the build was excellent! They look like really useful parts. I could see a whole market town being made up of arches, with stalls and alleyways scattered all through it.

    C'est très sympa c'est très réaliste, mais cela manque de livraison. Je m'explique j'aime les tables très immersive, et pour moi ton décors doit être lié à d'autres pour fonctionner, donc un boue de passerelle pouvant être continué et un gros plus pour ambiance tout comme les tuyaux. Je vois comment tu livre le carburant mais je ne vois pas comment tu le récupères ! Des boue de canalisations pouvant être poursuivi donnerait un gros UP. Merci de prouver que l'on peut faire plein de décor en recyclant les déchets. Et c'est dommage de ne pas l'avoir fait en deux ou trois parties, pour le stockage.

    I really love this, something else fun you could do is take some photo's of a few similar boxes minus the top print them out and then hit them with some mat varnish and put that under just the broken up floor tiles with different rotations to be able to fit it into a board that doesn't have foam lifting up the other tile sections.

      Thanks pal. All going well on the family front👍. Definitely a bit different. Fun build though :). I will hopefully be able to get some time to craft properly at some point in the near future! So many projects to do!
