Good job guys. Hopefully we can catch up at Chrissy. Mike.
Love this Sandra!! When you're back "home" in Australia do you stay in airbnbs or with family? How long have you both been retired for?
@@susancassar6423 when at "home" we stay with family. We have been retired since the day we flew away- 22nd May 2023. 😃 thank you for watching!
I am so sad we didn't try the Milo Dinosaur when we were in Malaysia. We saw it in a night market but were too full and then never managed to get back. It looks delicious! 😁
are you still living there?
@@a1bi0rix174 we never lived there, we did stay there for 6 weeks, "living like locals".
I first discovered Milo a couple of years ago in Georgetown, Penang. I didn’t realize it was Australian until watching your video.
Yes, and we have the pure stuff here 🇦🇺 😉
Great video! I always love monthly spending videos. It gives us something to compare our spending with. I’m anxious to know which loyalty program you were working on.
And a year later you arrived on the same ship!
@@TomChase-yb7fg YES, little did we know that we would actually sail on this Ship! ⚓😜
I’ll have to binge watch your videos now that we have internet again!
Welcome back! 🙂
Thanks! We've enjoyed your Camino series, we keep saying "we ate there too" "I remember that section" and you had the botafumeiro- super special!
@@travelblocks I'm glad you've enjoyed them, we agree it can be fun to re-live those memories with other pilgrims! 😁
Great to see it can be peaceful!
Carnival doesn't have the fit out of Royal Caribbean or Celebrity cruises - for example the shower curtain needs to go - but Carnival certainly has better atmosphere.
We just finished our first RC Cruise, the shower door instead of the curtain is awesome! Every cruise line has its pros and cons. We hope you enjoy your travels and keep a lookout for our RC episodes to come! 😄

Hi guys I’m new here and my husband and I looking at becoming nomadic and travelling full time. Live cost of living videos especially by fellow Australians. Thanks for your efforts and I’m looking forward to binging your content!

Those are called trishaw or in malay beca
Yes, we mention that in the video. Thanks for watching ❤️
Fun that you did this! We saw them but didn't take a ride. They look small! haha
Yes, it was fun 😊
Thanks for sharing, it is always interesting to see how we all spend money as we travel, there are just so many variables and decisions to make about it. 😁
Are you in Oz dollars?
Yes, we forgot to mention that!
@@travelblocks it’s good to see more aussies you tubing their travels and budgets 😊
@@caroljordan4316 yes, not many Australians our age that I can see 😃 thank you for your comments 😊

Thank you, I agree 😆 thanks for watching and commenting. We are slowly getting better 💪
Well done!
Thank you!
It's nice to see a couple of Aussies doing this type of video. There's a swag of American doing the same thing but I guess it's easier to relate cos it's in AUD.
@@natwhite7121 Thanks for watching and commenting. That's why we made the decision to make these videos, so many US videos, no Aussies! ❤️
Just got off NCL Star. Our biggest complaint was the toilet! To small and confining. Larger people would have hard time with the size. Food was good and service was great. Ship needs a refresh. This was our 3rd trip with NCL and will probably do another but will try to get a larger cabin next time.
I did the Camino twice , alone, and yes;sometime I splurge by taking a single room. But the cost you detailed are huge. Of course I always carried my backpack abd with flying from Italy and the train I did spent less than 2000euros and the first time I did it in 45 days, the 2nd time I took buses to cross the large town to avoid the suburbs. One of the purpose of the camino is frugality and it is a bit lesson. I did it when I was 68 and 69 year old.
Thanks for the detailed information on cost. I find your cost to be right in line with others have said of 2023/2024 of 50 euro a day per person. I think your total sounds high as it was 59 days for 2 people.
Thanks for sharing! Me and my partner are going to go travelling next year - we are very excited. Quick question - are your figures in NZD?
@@deborahparkinson8826 sorry we forgot to mention in the video, it's in Australian Dollars. Thanks for watching ❤️

Glad to see how flat that pillow packs. I do like to have my own pillow.
@@carolinacadabra8278 yes! I need to take my own pillow. You never know what you are going to get!
I was the first to like your video. 😊
You must have very low standards if you see anything positive in any part of this complex. You tourists should stop making such misleading content.
Hello we have this room Booked on a future cruise and plan to have the beds made up separately so we can see out the window better. Question: was the room location quiet?
We also made it 2 beds and it was great. The only thing that we could hear was if a neighbour talks loudly you can hear conversation.
I went on a 9 day cruise with them! Gotta say, they can change their food a bit! Everyday the same food for 9 days was a bit disappointing 😩
will be there Friday.. can’t wait.. water was warmish last monday.. cheers

Thanks for respecting our culture ❤❤❤❤❤much love

Limited-time deal: Vacuum Storage Bags (Medium 6 Pack), Double-Zip Seal and Leak Valve Reusable Space Saver Bag for Blankets Bedding, Max Space Saving +Free Hand Pump amzn.asia/d/43mNpko
The pillow is a Travel Pillow by Lorraine Lea Linen which is a Party Plan company in Australia.
@@travelblocks ah no worries. I had one of their parties many years ago. I've struggled finding a good size travel memory foam pillow online, so it might be time for a linen party 😀 I just either end up squishing my normal pillow in or going without and sleeping poorly. Thanks!
❤❤❤
Great idea to do an UNpacking video! I’d love to see a quick follow-up video where you show what you would probably not take next time, and what you would likely add that you did not take last time, and why. My guess is that you would reduce the amount and variety of clothing to just enough for one week, and eliminate any other stuff that you did not end up actually using much, but every traveler has their own feelings about what they need to bring with them. I’m curious to see what changes you’d like to make.
Thank you for your comment! We are in the midst of repacking into smaller cases and we intend to do a follow up video in the form of a packing video for the next leg of the journey 🙂
That ending made me laugh! You guys are pretty cute. :) I'm happy to find someone else who brings along house slippers like me. They're so good to have! I always need an eye mask, I won't sleep if there's too much light.
Thankyou for watching till the end, love our slippers too 💞
