So where exactly does turn your smart lights to “fall-theme” land on your list? 😅 lol just kidding, but seriously that’s about as much of a theme change my place has. Definitely going to take some ideas from this video, I actually picked up a great smelling fall candle the other day. Another great vid!

I saw this one after I saw the one where you decorated but I love your finds!! I usedmto do this many years ago . and I had a thinf for finding different chairs and painting them . Some with vines or a complete pastela with the spindels being different color pastels. I enjoyed doing that. After I enjoyed the chairs and furniture I used and painted I sold them all at a garage sale. I was sad to see them go but it was time for something else! Thanks for sharing yourself with yor great ideas and the great bargains, I enjoyed it so much!! 💌

I use moody colored hydrangea florals. Deeper toned glassware. I did not realize that you had a brick fireplace in your kitchen... LOVE IT! In our last house, we added a brick floor in the kitchen. Love your simple table. Wait till you see MY TABLE... LOTS OF STUFF:) I love our 1.3 acres..BUT it is so windy here. It is open fields, and everything seems to blow away. I have a tiny side porch. But half of the tiny porch ( on the non windy side) has my grill because the propane will blow out. So the other tiny half is decor. Lol, love your fall flowers on the porch and the ribbon on the cloche! Another sweet, relaxing, and encouraging video!

What a great idea with the curtain rods. Really smart way to make small apartment feel bigger too! I think you’re spot on when saying a little paint can go a long way. I feel it’s the cheapest way to make a noticeable improvement. And congrats on your anniversary!

So you might appreciate this. My mom still has two potted plants that were originally planted along the walkway of my childhood home. She doesn’t know exactly when they were planted, but best guess is the 1960’s. They’re hydrangeas and come back every year looking beautiful. This might sound silly, but I would love for my great, great, great grandkids to have them one day.

I loved your haul! The prices were amazing! The teapot was my favorite item. I share your feelings about decorating for fall in the actual season and I love fall, but I also love summer. I don’t want to cut it short. However, I live in Georgia, where it is still in the 90s, so summer refuses to be cut short. My town has a huge craft show the second weekend in September and I usually begin fall decorating after that. I consider it to be the official beginning of the fall season, for me. I do enjoy watching others begin their decorating in mid August, but I can’t seem to watch it before that.

Our summers are short so I milk it! Lol! I will probably decorate in two weeks or so. I am gathering items & ideas so thank you for sharing!

I love the reminder to live in the moment. Thank you. It seems I decorate for fall when it moves me…..the weather changes, summer seems to be slipping away, and it just feels right to say goodbye and turn to a new season. I feel that might be different for each of us. Sometimes family or friends inspire me. I will go into their homes and “fall” will be displayed…..then I get the “fever”, go home….and it’s just “time”!!! BOOM🍁🍂😊

Don't laugh! My fall decor is on the dining room table, and 3 totes of fall floral are in the dining room and have been for TWO weeks! As for staying "present" I am a planner, so I guess "my present" would be staying on task for that day, but I keep adding to the Planner the future things that need done for that week. I feel less Overwhelmed when it is thought through and planned, BUT THEN, life happens:)

The dried flowers are absolutely beautiful!! 😭😭 also, a little mystic tip, sprinkle or attach some cinnamon to your wood broom for a little financial “luck”, even better if you put it by the front door as a sign to bring in financial blessings through the seasons. 🤗

The end of summer makes me so sad. While fall is beautiful, that seasonal winter depression is real over here. Your message, “both things can be true at the same time,” is a reminder for me that I can make winter better by focusing on the beauty.
