Hi, it is good and no, it doesn’t wobble. I have seen other remixes on various caravan/van forums on fb with leg upgrades. The only downfall I have of this is if any food falls from the grill, it’s straight on the ground rather than a table top. If you have this grill give this a go, it’s relatively inexpensive to do, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. I’ll see if I can do an updated vlog using the legs. Thanks for watching and the comment. Looking at the video again I can see now that you have put a slot in the top of the tube which engages with the body of the Cadac thus locating it to avoid rotation and wobble etc.. well done! It would be great to see a video of it being assembled and actually being used. Also it would be good if you could attach a dimensioned sketch of the pipe (guessing its standard 65mm diameter rainwater pipe) with overall cutting sizes, slot size and lower slash angle etc?

Okay, back home now. Here's a link for the pipe I used here - www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-downpipe-68mm-x-2-5m-black/25256 - not an affiliated link as in the description. This is cut into 3 equal parts, make the first cut at an angle (of your choice really), I'd guess at around 10-20 degrees, this first cut is the bottom of two legs. The next cut would be a 'square' cut which will be the top of the second leg. With the remaining piece just reproduce the same angled 1st cut. You could make the cut more acute so when used on grass, the pip could be 'stabbed' into the ground if required. Each leg will be approximately 800mm long. There is no other cutting to do as the pipe fits over the CADAC leg and into the side clearance grooves to the sides of the CADAC leg. The gas cable, I presume you mean the pipe that connects the gas Power Pak to the grill, came with the Power Pak. If you have the exact same setup, it could be a faulty switch or incorrectly set up pressure switch. Given what you say, I’d suggest maybe a visit to your local dealer. Hope you get it sorted soon. Andy.

Hi Adi, not sure what you mean? This van tows fine - as did the Porto, I do need to check the noseweight though as a few have mentioned about that being heavy 🤷🏻‍♂️.

@@tanksontour as my Mondeo I can feel that I'm towing the caravan. So you don't feel like you're towing with your van?

@@adiwilson42 I can always feel the van on the car, anyone who says “don’t know it’s there” is either delusional or just a bad driver. The car bounces more as it would with a van on the back and the fuel consumption increases massively. The only time I’d say that it feels like it pulls the car back is when we go up a hill (not a slight incline), even then, a good heavy right foot sorts that out 👀 - I’d say your outfit should be fine, if you’re having unsure thoughts, maybe get the caravan brakes checked?

Like the Bologna but we decided on the Messina as the layout suits us better. How did you find the Porto and why change down if you don't mind me asking?

@@gazdon6793 the Messina is indeed a lovely layout like the Porto, very nice. We loved the Porto for privacy if you have more visitors or guests that stay with you, we don’t any more. The change down isn’t really a change down in our eyes, only for one thing. We have two beagles who come with us, the Porto had a leaky fluid from the Alde heating, one time while away, one beagle wasn’t too well and after finding the leak we had sort of made our minds up to change - the layout of the new van for us is great, no one really comes with us so privacy isn’t important, no Alde fluid to worry about either…… oh and the SPACE at the front!
