This was worth it …not 😂
And they say situation comedy is dead 🙄😴
Well done young man ..wisdom doesn’t come to ALL elderly people 🤷🏼♂️🙏🏼
Proper 😊
Go on lad
There is really something strange about these insecure and narcissistic "runners".
Insecure? Narcissistic? Doesn't even make sense 😂
You are an idiot lad get back to soldiering if you want to do this shite have a reason for fecking your knees up
You sound like the elderly gentlemen by calling anyone an idiot for doing something you wouldn't do and expect them to know it was just your concern for their wellbeing 😅
I don't need excuses the knees are great 💪
Exercising does make you feel great mentally and physically but you've got to be really clever about it and try not to wear those joints out too soon in life, maybe cycling, walking and swimming is the way to go, less pressure on the joints, pounding that concrete day after day year after year can't be good in the long run, get it the long run hahaha.
😂😂 love it 💪
True I have ran thousands of miles in my life played loads of football done contact sports my right knee has completely gone destroyed I’m 58 I need a new knee now !!!
I was addicted to running for 10 years, 7 days a week. I wish I hadn't done it because of the knee troubles I have now.
Bet you felt well hard going back for a man in his 80's
No not at all as if you watch the video I didn't go after him aggressively, I wanted to know why he felt the need to shout that at me, I then shook his hand and wished him a safe journey home after our conversation there isn't an ounce of aggression in that video
Another whinging Karen.
Get a grip, pal. Why would anyone, unless you were scared, not want to find out why a stranger randomly calls you out?
@@QuoPaperPlane exactly mate, people calling me aggressive and saying I was acting hard 🤣🤣 if someone shouts you're a f*+#ing idiot then you go back to find out? Nothing hard or aggressive about it.
It's been emotional 😂
Looks like you're wearing an old British army 120 litre Bergen?
Short back version made by Berghaus
Well done! You have big cahunas 👏
Same in Wales got something to say come here if not keep a zip on your lip 😂
Steve believe me that if your knees get fkd the pain is immense and constant. Played football, volleyball and ran until I was 40. Since then both knees have gone through wear and tear. I have had 5 knee ops on both knees , I have cortisone injections , take painkillers everyday, find it hard to walk because of the pain. Just be careful and don't run if you're slightly injured.
He's a Yorkshire man. He says what he like's and he like's what he blooming well says. He's not an uptight southern softie.
Aye up. Softie, am I lad? Eeeee, it's grim up north.
And neither is the runner who called him out for being a dick. What's the issue here?
Even as a black londoner from the streets I can tell you what I like in the streets not just a crummie middle class softie souttherner.
@@MoAdan28 He's obviously fatherless, going at an old man like he did.
The man who started the jogging craze way back in the 80s, he went missing for several days, they eventually found his dead body and his autopsy proved he had a heart attack while jogging, also at that time the biggest cause of medical discharges in the British army was from knee damage. Jogging is an addictive hobby and I became addicted in my early 20s, slightly increasing the distance one day and improving my time until I could no longer beat that time then extended the run again until I found myself running for two hours every afternoon when it was possible. My knees are OK but at 63 years young I can't run anymore my walking is fine although I should do more but I have other health issues preventing me doing so.
Doesn't mean that jogging caused his heart attack though!! Many more people die of heart attacks from obesity and smoking related heart disease, running and fitness in general done properly are not bad for your knees or any other joints, there are plenty of people in their 60's 70's who struggle to get out of a chair who have never done a days exercise in their life, I know which path I'd rather choose
Ironically his surname was 'Fit' and it was discovered his heart attack was a congenital defect and not caused by exercise at all.
@steveultrarunner132 Just heard another tea total health addict die the other day ..some strange reason they seem go the most or most unexpected unless someone really heavy on a substance but its a weird one that...cheers for vids I thing stretching is the one wrap yourself round a big tree n just hold it as long as you can whole body getting worked gently at one equally ...that's ancient trick anyway...have a good one mate 👍
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
You're a better man than him - there's no need to be abusive like he was and one day someone will 🤜💥😵💫🤕
It's not abuse. He's a northerner they'll speak their minds. The uploader behaved disgracefully toward an elder. I suspect you're still wet behind the ears.
Ayyy now way! Ilfracombe?
old school prole, didnt mean harm just expressing himself in a thick confrontational way, belongs to a different era
There’s a Karen epidemic.. and they don’t like to be called out for their Karen behaviour.
He's a northerner being northern. The uploader is self centred & disrespectful.
@@anvilbrunner.2013how am I disrespectful?? He called me a f@#*ing idiot? Infact he shouted it twice so I went to ask him why, being northern is no excuse
@@steveultrarunner132 Only a southern softie or somebody that got undersmacked as a bairn would take offense at some hurty words. You'd be a gibbering wreck if you had to spend time at a bus stop up north.
@@anvilbrunner.2013 🤣🤣
So that's your excuse for being a Karen. There are plenty of southerners who would happily teach you to keep your gob shut.
He’s lying ?
Yeah I got that impression
Oh, are you psychic? He is not lying it actually is bad for your joints ,I used to run for Surrey for years. I’ve done both my knees in and my back. You’re not supposed to run. You can walk but you’re not supposed to jog and run it is bad for you. Good to get out for your mental health, but not running and jogging . It’s a fact.. you’re supposed to stretch not run or do yoga. Even the gym is bad for you you just do it because everyone else does it you look at what it does to you realise Walking is the best thing ever.
@@LaidOutBare sorry but that is absolute rubbish, 1 I train because I want to, I don't care what other people are doing, 2 it's not bad for you at all, I had Osgood schlatters disease in my knees when I was younger, and suffered loads with them in the army, now I combine strength training with running and rucking and my knees have bever been better
@@LaidOutBarewhat a load of absolute waffle , we are not supposed to run ? Wrong , we are not supposed to do yoga ... Wronggg , the only scientific proof is that excessive ultra marathon runners ect keeping their hearts elevated for hours at a time for decades is bad , people jogging and training for a few hours per week is actually far more superior in every way for us psychically and mentally, balance is the key , also yoga is amazing for health and the body as it ages also proven .
@@steveultrarunner132yes tabbing is great for onee strength and overall, people mess up with running with weight for too long ect , the amount of criticism you get for training here is laughable, keep doing you mate 👍 also ex army ( RGJ ) take it easy
props to you for calling him out in a polite way, and fair play to him for taking it on board
Thanks, just wanted him to see what his actions could do to someone
@@steveultrarunner132 Cultural relativism not your forte. Northerners speak their minds all day every day. They'll not berate their elders either. I'd hope you've thought on by now. Perhaps feeling ashamed of yourself.
@@anvilbrunner.2013 he spoke his mind, so I went back and spoke mine, and hardly berated him ? Considering he called me a fucking idiot I couldn't have been anymore polite to him, no idea what you think I should be ashamed of?
@@steveultrarunner132 He's a seniour citizen. You were angry at an old man. That's disgraceful. He believed you were a lad & not a lass as you'd postulated. We can only assume that you're an orphan.
@@anvilbrunner.2013 🤣🤣 if your watching that believing I was angry your the one with issues, shook his hand wished him a safe journey home - the very definition of anger
Quality running, Steve! Thoroughky enjoyed following you down Foreland and hiking up the hill with you! Hope you had a good race and wish you all the best!! 😃👍👍
Yh it was a great day mate thanks, hope your race went well

You want to get rid of the slack out of the barbell before you start lifting with your legs. This prevents a yanking on the barbell with your arms and helps prevent rounding/over usage of your back. Squat university has amazing youtube reels on deadlift technique and you’ll be lifting even heavier weights in no time!! KEEP IT GOING! 💪
Thanks, I tend to do it when I lift heavy, I'll take a look at the videos thanks for info, this is usually after a solid CrossFit style workout so concentrating on form gets lost a lot
Is that dangerous? I don't know anything, honestly. It just looked like a high risk for injury, especially while you were pumping back and forth. Good work, and Much respect. Honest question.
No it's not as long as you lift with good form the jerks were just a bit of a help to get it up the last bit and only because it was bloody heavy hopefully will get a smoother lift next time
@@steveultrarunner132 cool. Yeah that's a lot of weight. You're a beast 💪🏼 Stay safe 🫡
Now you can stack 3 25s each side 🫡🤘
I would but there's only 1 set plus a few of us doing deads, got to share 😉
I've never really had close friends. I've had a few friends but I've never been able to connect
Would be interesting to see what the data is for women. I imagine there’s lots and lots of women who have no friends but very few women who are completely alone other than by choice
Men or people in general? He switched categories mid sentence!
A great positive talk to help people who are struggling, I wish you all the very best on your new journey in life pal
Thankyou so much
Congrats! (y)
