I have to admit that when I saw the title of this clip I almost didn't play it--maybe because the song is such a classic, or maybe Ann couldn't pull it off. Shows how much I know! Wow! Ann is so respectful when she covers songs like this and Stairway to Heaven.

The Heart fan that I am I have to say this is ok but not worth getting worked up about. The writing skills haven't been as good since the early 80s,when they canned the original line up,Roger,Steve and Mike. I know there were personal problems going on and all,but losing these guys hurt the band. Howard couldn't come close to Rogers riffs and stage presence. Anns voice and Nancy's acoustic/electric guitar were still there but something was still missing.
I love Ann and Heart. I noticed as she got older some of the songs started in a lower key. She's 68 now I guess I can understand. Some of those notes aren't as easy as they were in the day. Where is this from?.

Holy shit. We need to appreciate Ann Wilson's talent. It never may happen again.
I've been appreciating her for 42 years. What d'ya think of that? (I saw Heart in their prime in 1978 at a community college field house with an audience of maybe 2000 people. I was 10 feet from the stage and it was one of maybe the top 1 or 2 concerts I've ever seen. I couldn't count the rock concerts I've been to since about 1970. The only bands who I would consider better... and I mean tight and sounding on stage better than their records was maybe the Beatles and Led Zeppelin.) As a live band heart was perfect and Anns voice would make your hair stand on end!
