Dose anybody know where I can get this on a CD?
fucking flibble
Why not just remake it entirely?
I saw Craig do stand up in the late 90s when he came to Melbourne Aus. We were all huge dwarf fans. What a treat! He entered firing 2 very loud fake guns. Got our attention.
Holly red dwarf sacrifices runtime
UN-RUMBLE!
When mom calls you to the dinner table and you don't respond the first time.
Cat is the funniest character. He has great comedic timing and always says dumb things at the perfect moment lol
Watched it every day for past 10 years
I'm assuming the remastered basketball scene is a homage to 1970s sci-fi dark comedy film "Dark Star". That had an alien onboard that was basically a painted beach ball with claws.
He made a triple negative, which is just a negative, therefore a positive.
What a guy!
If this happened in the extended cut of series 7 , how come in the promised land they didn't know about the hybrid function
This version of Starbug had it’s architecture altered by it’s battle with it’s future self. They might’ve just assumed the hybrid function was exclusive to this specific model.
Sounds like take my breath away by berlin.
I honestly thought Rimmer was going to fade away after realising he's a hero. He finally finds redemption then the timeline resets and deletes him 🤣
I remember seeing this in like 1995 in detroit. It was easy to see Canadian shows if you lived near the river
This is so great to see. As a kid I loved Red Dwarf, it made me want to do special effects, and only as an adult years later got to do it as a job! (until lockdown 😞), I got to work in Longcross Studios in Surrey, and Germany, at home in Ireland, I loved it!, Thanks Red Dwarf for the inspiration!!!! 🙂
Do you have the rest of Amnesty International's Big 30? I'm desperate to find a copy, and if you have, I would be so grateful if you would be kind enough to upload it! Thank you!
VHS Video Vault on youtube has the footage. Best to Contact them. Their website is vhistory.wordpress.com/2014/08/10/gbh-tape-1198/
Well played sir! Great book and excellent reading 😊
_Marvelous!_
THE Sabrina Mulholland-Jjones?
...what a guy!
I came from juno
I have the Bodysnatcher Collection DVD set so I've seen all the remastered episodes a few times - while some glaring problems to me are cut dialogue making scenes awkward, cheesy stock music, and shocking CGI, by FAR the worst thing is that fucking music cue. You know the horn at the start of the theme song that sometimes plays over a model shot? I cannot explain to you HOW MANY TIMES they play that EXACT snippet, often adding CG shots of the ship where there never was a model shot with JUST THAT CUE, they even add it in series 3 when I swear it only played once originally. It's SO GRATING, to the point I can't even stand the classic series or god forbid the later series that use that same cue all the bloody time. I don't know who on the team had such a fetish for that godforsaken five seconds of trumpet but I hope both sides of their pillow are always warm.
Creepy!
Mr. Flibble became the Linux mascot??
Were the remasters ever released in the uk?
It's like the end of that one Twilight Zone episode, except he doesn't break his glasses and can eat all the porno he wants . . . Wait . . .
I actually grew up watching the Remastered on VHS and I loved the long Red Dwarf, and the Blue Midget with legs, I much prefer it with the legs than just a normal ship.
The King in Yellow
How are they getting 3002180? From the novels?
Hot blonde.
My favourite episode and one of Chris Barrie's best performances. Brilliant.
It's just johnny b goode LMAO
It's more just 12 bar blues than a specific song I think
The remastered versions merely served to show just how great the originals were.
My life is considerably less fulfilling than curry and salvage, I think she has a point.
Peter Scott. What an obnoxious jerk trying to take credit for the show. Typical bureaucrat.
This was a little bit scary.
What a guy....
Which episode and series is this?
@@georgehurst8236 Series 12, episode 6. Titled: Skipper
I hate the long red dwarf. Aside from the shocking CGI, it looks like a willy. It's not unique. Dont get me STARTED on the walking blue midget, nightmare fuel.
Male ad libs, female reads a script.
Reminds me of Shakespeare’s brilliant “Now” speech, from Richard the Third.
Ace Rimmer: this is my best top dammit!
Lister should be alright lol, he still has the time drive so can just travel back or forward in time to wherever he wants.
WTF! It looks massively worse, how is it even a debate. I never laughed at the original effects and models which were actually very good for the budget if not exactly Spielberg, but the CGI is incredibly unrealistic and frankly silly. I've just watched the entire BBC run with my 10 yo old daughter, and as soon as it came series 6-7 she kept laughing and saying, why does it look so unrealistic now?
Being around in the '80s and early '90's this was played everywhere, especially the last 30 seconds or so. It was used in commercials, film previews, the TV series Cosmos and corporate promotions. After hearing it I tried for decades --- yes decades --- to find the name of this piece. (Honestly I thought I'd never find it.) Only after an exhaustive search for all the music used in Cosmos did I find it. And now when I play it for others my age do they say, 'yes, that IS familiar'.
To me, this was honestly my favourite scene in the entire Series 8 despite how juvenile the writing was. =) The music and dancing made this scene all the more enjoyable!
Posh boys surrendering to money. In the end thin line they would receive for money
