You have an amazing channel here. I saw one video and subbed immediately. Looking forward to your future videos. thank you
this is amazing 🔥🔥🔥 you should do a light breakdown for garrett naccarato
I've been googling his lighting for at least a year. I can't get over it. Happy to have stumbled upon this!
Fantastic explanation! but @2:40 it's not a hot light, it's profoto pro head with a hard box and red gel on it
@@jppj4067 oh thanks for that! I thought it was Profoto Daylight into HardBox as the light was strong in the video. So you feel it’s Pro but just with modelling light also? Appreciated 🤝
@@easystudiolighting hmmh yeah I think it's a pro head flash since the cord is coming from the back of the head and not the bottom where it's located on the Profoto Daylight... plus you have to insert the head perpendicular to the hardbox as on the video... from what I heard he mostly use flash, but I've never worked with him, I'll ask his former assistant (the one in the video) if I come across him by any chance and let you know!! ahah :) Thanks a lot for you work!! :)
@@jppj4067really appreciated on the detailed response. Thanks!
you are amazing, thanks for this class ❤❤
@@sumeaguiar837 thanks for the comment and glad you liked it
Thanks a lot for this video, I really in love with your approach to show us the stages of light building, it is very helpful to understand! My suggestion for next video is elizaveta porodina!
Too many lights for no reason man
Oh, well, the lights are used for a reason, but thank you for commenting. Experimentation, that’s the fun of learning lighting.
love this work, sharing it with my friends!
Appreciated, there will be more soon. Thanks.
love! do you upload your sets to the set a lite community ever?!
No I haven’t joined, just on here and TikTok atm. And thank u 🤝
I have a question what this app you use!!!??
It’s set-a-light3d
Great lighting lessons!
Thank you for watching and commenting 👨🏻💻👋🏻
Hi! are all lighting constant or some of them we should use as an impulse light? is it possible to recreate similar look using 2 impulse light, 2 constant light and natural light ?) thanks!
I'm Brazilian and I'm passionate about his work, but there are few things about how he started
Hey! Thank you for your videos, they are really insanely helpful!
That’s really good feedback thanks so much. I have more on the way currently editing a few different ones.
Great Tutorial ! Hey whats the software you're using and is it available for US market ?
Thank u. Yeah it’s called set-a-light 3D and I’d assume so. I think also still a free (limited use) version as well
the guy at photoshop is very good
def more like these pleaseeeeeeee
Some more on the way!
where do you teach this lighting in studio, if i may ask?
Amazing video's!!
Wow! Amazing tutorial! Subscribed!💕
Thank you for subscribing and commenting. Super appreciated
More please about him!!
I have a lighting breakdown on the way, but been super busy. But soon!
The emulating Our Generation's and Culture's Styles is fvcking Crazy
this is amazing!!! can you do David Urbanke
Ah thank you 🤝👨🏻💻yes I will try, as requested also on my tiktok.
So you're close but this isn't how he lights it. I know this because it me that lights it 😂 Your set is way too small for a start. And your kinda close with the light setup but only about 60%
That’s cool J, good team to be on. But yeah the goal is always to help people develop and learn. Assistants have even offered behind the scenes images but that’s not the aim. It’s more about talking thru styles and building knowledge and trying to also keep it achievable. 🤝
REALLY appreciate the effort that went into this breakdown. ❤
Thank you for the feedback, really pleased and I loved making this one
Whats the program , u use for the virtual studio?
It’s set-a-light 3d

thank u, super appreciated
Please do Nadia Lee Cohen and Bryce Anderson!!
thanks for requesting, I will upload my Nadia Lee Cohen video soon.

Hello, I don't think the light on the background is correct. I think it's an over exposed vignette in software. I have seen few photographer use this look.
Maybe right, and that would work. In the BTS footage (a brief clip shown at 7s) you can see a background light placement. But yr solution is also great for people with less lights available 🤝
@@easystudiolighting I tested it in captureone and it gave me the same circular reversed vignette. Just because there is an extra light it does not mean it was used. I turn off and on lights to get different looks but have them out ready to use.
@@berniemac7777 yes that’s definitely what the vignette feature does in C1.
as a professional photographer that is constantly learning, this is my favorite channel! thank you for your effort :)
Really appreciate the comment thanks and glad you find the content useful!
I love your videos. As a beginner, I rewatch them as many times as I can to learn from your page. I wanted to ask Does the main light have to be a zoom reflector? Can this setup get good results with a large umbrella?
great question! You would still get good results but the light would be 'softer' so not quite as fresh difference between the main and the fill light. A sliver umbrella would be closer to a reflector that a white umbrella. Also if you fire light into umbrella (as a bounce) not a shoot thru that will be closer. I hope this makes sense.
@@easystudiolighting yes it does. Thank you
Thank you, always appreciate your content!
thats great to know and thanks for the comment, more to come!
Good! Just a bit of volume missing
thanks, someone else also commented on the previous upload. I think its a YT thing as TikTok (same levels) is fine, so I will boost it manually before new upload and thanks so much for telling me.
This is great!
Thank you 👨🏻💻😊 it’s a really effective set-up, love it.
Soo good!
Thanks and the work is just amazing, so it was a really fun one to make this.
I'm always learning with your videos! What's the name of the software that you use to mimic a studio situation?
Thanks for the positive vibes 👨🏻💻😊 and it’s set-a-light 3d
@@easystudiolighting Thanks! I do learn a lot from your videos!
Amazing video! Thanks again!
thank you, glad you like it, I loved making this one.
gonna have to try this. great video as always
I really hope to see peoples results when they try stuff. Could make for a good future video also👨🏻💻📸
Sir, you explain lighting very well. Could you use higher volume microphone. Your voice is very low in all the videos.
Thanks for the support. And yeah I don’t know why but YT compresses the audio so much. I have a solid mic Snowball Ice and the same audio on TikTok is totally fine. I guess I can just try raising the level a lot more. I appreciate the feedback.
