At £4.500 for a 125cc this most certainly is NOT a budget bike !

I've had my Suzuki B-King for 10 happy years, it's simply the best motorcycle I've ever had and I have no intention of exchanging it for another, I might even buy a different one, but it has its place forever in my life. 10 years and no problems, just oil, tires, brake pads, and fluids, it is entirely original after 70 thousand kms. Be careful with oil changes, even without leaks, and without smoke from the exhaust, if you drive at high revs it lowers the oil level, I recommend always keeping an eye on the glass on the left side of the engine to see the correct level. 😊

The Honda 750 Hornet costs a bit less but offers a lot less. However, I think it’s a great bike for the value-I know because I own one. You’re full of it; the MT-09 weighs 19 kg less. Do you seriously believe you will notice that? Nah.

Just chopped in my Panigale 1199 for a new S1000RR. I can honestly say I will never ever ever ever buy another Ducati. Whoever says Ducati reliability and build quality is now ‘no longer an issue’ clearly dont own a Ducati

I love it when you have a senior level design team who’s job it is all day to design motorcycles for bmw and after years of refinement, testing, and consideration someone just throws headlights from the RR on there and somehow you think it’s good.

You forgot that is a 270 crank engine that make that sound good.

Those who are familiar with the bmw , you always get more power than what’s on paper so if you think that it’s slower then the Ducati your in for a big surprise, looks can be subjective and in terms of technology bmw wins it hands down

Thank you for this, I’m in the market for a new sport bike to get a 1000cc machine before they are all gone forever. No doubt between these two titians!! I have a hard choice ahead of me because I love daily riding, but riding weather is only 4-5 months tops where I live. I don’t think I could go wrong in either case which only makes my decision that much harder. What appeals to me on the BMW is I can spect it sky high on a s1000rr and still come out at a lower price point than the Pangale V4. That said the character of the Ducati weighs heavily on me. I’m so torn. 💯

I am a 2011 GSX-R750 owner, so how about a 2025 GSX-S750 with the GSX-R750's 115HP engine slipper clutch adjustable-height foot pegs and lightweight aluminum frame, the 8R's Showa suspension, the 8S's TFT screen traction control and quick shifter, and the current GSX-S1000's front end pointy styling? There is no 2024 GSX-S750 this year and the rumor is that a revamp is in the works. All of these parts exist already, just need to cobble them together. Would make excellent use of the 750 L1 engine.

I’m sorry but you are incorrect on the brakes. Those are NISSIN front brake calipers. It is also incorrect that no sport bike uses a transponder key. Honda uses it on their CBR1000RR-R.

I'd get the panigale if money wasn't an issue, it's literally a ferrari on 2 wheels and a head turner. But my brain would pick the S1K. It's almost half the price for nearly the same performance in every single way.

I love that you said you would rather have the 2020 RSV4 Factory and I couldn't agree with you more (having just bought one). 7 pieces of carbon fiber including the winglets ('21- '24 has none) and it comes with that awesome sounding Akrapovic titanium exhaust!

I agree about the button lights, I have them on my Xdiavel and always thought why not just add that little bit of wow and light up the whole buttons. Not good enough for the money imo and agree with some of the fit and finish on their bikes but one thing is they make you feel so cool when you ride them,and no other bike has given me that same feeling. The jap bikes all just look and feel the same and although the bmw m1000r is a brutal bike but it still looks like any other jap bike out there but with lots of carbon goodies, but insurance is mental for one. My friend has a new mt10 sp and paid £16k and that is fully loaded with ohlins electronic suspension etc but looks ugly imo with only one light working and no drls etc and do not like coloured wheels unless white or black. But can see myself going for one of these in a yr or two second hand.
