The pick walks do have time limits, though I forget how long for each walk, but I'm pretty certain frozen and chilled are 30-45 minutes so items don't start to defrost before they're put in the OGP freezer or cooler.

I should be starting this week!! Got the job offer two days ago, not gonna lie I'm excited but also worried as this is my first ever job. Any good tips?? I have hear that if you pick up all items first and scan them all after at the end is "cheating" wouldn't it be a lot quicker that way? As everytime you look and scan the item, you waste some seconds + it helps Getting order done a bit more faster making the clients happy. Right now at my Walmart they were looking to hire people as they were low on staff, but now there's a good amount of people that is starting to work this week just like me!

I am now waiting to see if the accepted the hours I selected to work between the week and the weekends . But overall it is actually a very very fun job! I really love it today! Yes sometimes you do have to carry things and move around a lot while there's customers but it is really fun and entertaining when you have great team group!!

I might end up losing my job position because of low performance and being slow. I’m a new employee but I’m passed my training time and according to them I should be faster with my picks by now. I still don’t understand how am I supposed to be fast when I have other variables at play. I have customer asking for help constantly and I have trouble maneuvering my tote cart around through busy isles. They want us to do at least 100 items an hour which seems like a lot to me and stay at a constant 100+ score on the pick rate. This is stressing me out when the job shouldn’t be this stressful. Any ideas or tips to get faster? I don’t wanna lose this position because of it being higher pay compared to other positions and it’s relatively an easy job but I have management constantly breathing down my neck to be faster at picking.
