Great video Ryan. I just have two questions. Which one is the fly lead on the stereo? Also my blue wire from the Fakra aerial is currently not attached to anything. Should this be connected somewhere? (Think it may have become disconnected when removed from another vehicle)

What tool do i need and how to extract the unit ? I bought a van with this same PIONEER unit , SPH 160 , i want to attach a rear view camera and my RHS speaker dosnt work , i went to Halfords and bought a " pioneer " pair of LEVERS , but cannot get the blighter out ?

Would this work with a 2014 with the 6.6 inch screen?

please advise how you connected separate power to fuse box and where did you connect it on the pioneer itself I have similar model so wonder whether it should connect to battery (yellow cable on connector) or ACC (red cable on connector) and what should be the fuse. thx

This is a load of crap. You made it look like you were getting sound when showing the radio station but you didn't have the fakra to din aerial adapter fitted so you would never have got anything anyway. The twin fakra to din doesn't fit both of the connectors in at the same time which you swiftly avoided by going to the USB through the glove box 🤣

Where did you put the grey electronic module ? I just retrofitted an Android Auto MMI (which has the same size and is pre-wired for a backup camera) in my 218d F46 and there is no space behind or under the original radio. I had to install it under the glove box and yet there is not much space.

Even though the sound is poor, I’ve followed this and my stereo is tip top, one bit to be mindful of which I struggled with was running the switched live/ignition piggy back wire.
