I love the blueberry theme, I will definitely add it to my list for the future - it's so cute but simple! My June theme is maybe a bit random: I did a soccer spread (simple, mostly green) ⚽. The European Soccer Championship is going to be in my home town in Germany this summer and I will actually be volunteering there, so I thought it was a nice idea to remember this period with a specific spread; even though it does not fit my aesthetic at all 😂

Non fiction recommendation: Solito, by Javier Zamora. It's amazing.

I also kept thinking of Bridgerton when reading Funny Story! I haven't watched season 3 yet but I kept wanting to call Daphne "Penelope" because my brain kept getting it confused with Peter and Petra (too many P names 😂) Glad you loved it!

I can't wait to read Just for the Summer! I have it on hold at my library and the wait is killing me! Unfortunately Funny Story didn't work for me. I don't want to rain in your parade so I'm not going to say why lol. I'm glad you liked it though. I did relate to Daphne a little bit. Also I wonder if Emily Henry was inspired by the show Frasier because there are two characters on the show named Daphne and Niles. Could be a coincidence.

You definitley need to read Kate Bateman! She writes such fun historical romances and they have the cutest romances with the best action. I would start with the ruthless rivals series. You could also go back and read Lisa Kleypas who is a staple in the genre. The wallflower series is the best place to start but she has a different vibe to Tessa and Kate 😊
