Thank you all for helping us to grow our small business and nurture this amazing community we are part of! Let’s remember together few of the key moments of this remarkable journey. My carving journey started with a wood carving kit by Täljogram, I got from my partner as a Christmas present. Having a new-born at home spoon carving was the only activity that would keep the noise levels down. Wat...

Are you tilting the knife? About how many degrees if you are?
Amazing!
Thanks!
Beautiful carving axe? How I order one and what are you requirements ? Thanks so much for your kind response, blessings.
Incredible skill from a master craftsman!
Awesome! Do you have a start to finish video on these? Thanks!
How did you like it? I have one and a gransfors wildlife hatchet, I always go towards this one.
Iron maiden?
Great job! I am new to carving and I am looking to buy Robin Wood axe but I’m not sure which one to choose. The small (31cm, 720gr) or the larger (35cm, 975gr). Do you think is there so much difference in weight between them? Which one do you have?
I'd go with the smaller one like the one he has in the video. Its great
Does it have flat bevel? When you sharpening you lay it flat on the stone/puck until you close the gap between apex and stone? Also I am wondering which one to choose 720gr -31 cm version or the little bit larger one 975 gr- 35cm
I'm using the lighter one, 550gr head. The axe comes with flat over hollow bevel grind. I use the sharpening kit to sharpen and strop the axe: thespooncrank.com/product/the-sharpening-kit/ I hold the axe with one hand and I sharpen with the other, making sure to keep the bevel flat against the sharpening block.
Beautiful carving axe!!!! I wanted one!
Сделайте пожалуйста видео как вы делаете эти бруски, чем клеите
You have the carving axe (550gr head and complete 720gr) and the Carving axe Large (750gr head and complete 975gr) which one u use, please?
I'm using the lighter one - 550gr head.
Hej. Fint interview :-) Hvis man er interesseret i håndværk er psykologi, så kan man finde Anne Kirketerp en dansk væver og psykolog, som har blandt andet skrevet bogen `craft Psycology`. :-)

What hatchet are you using?
I own this sharpening kit myself and I have to say. It is the best one I have come across 👏🏻 I can highly recommend it for both knives and axes, even if the surface is a little bit narrow for axes. Great product 🔥
Thank you for your feedback! I'm very happy you like it.
Made my first spoon from a birch branch. You make it a lot easier than it was😂
Really interesting to see how different your approach is to mine! I'll have to make my own video as a comparison!
Yes please, I’d love to see how you go about it.
nice one dio thanks for posting!
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
They're hot. Got get yourself one now.
In a previous UA-cam video, someone made a spoon template out of a transparent material .... which I thought was very insightful. When faced with (rather favoured with) a spoon blank that has some interesting figure / features / patterns, the template can be placed in the most favourable position before marking the outline, so to include the interesting character of the blank.
Thank you for your comment. Those templates are actually made from a transparent material. I chose not to remove the protective film when I did this video.
What a beauty 👌
Thank you so much Maurice!
Wonderful looking spoon
Thank you so much!
