Every time I listen to this music, I go way back when I was 10 years old and was wachting my uncle play this amazing game. Every moment felt so cool and big, I still cant forget that. This game is part of my life and part of me.

I never realized it, but these tracks do have some involvement in the story at the time you hear them. In the caves you start to hear hellish sounds in the music, because you are getting closer to hell. In the catacombs you hear the baby crying, and I think that was supposed to be the echoes of the baby that was sacrificed later youre trying to save

It doesn't matter who you are or what kind of life you've had, just play this music and say you didn't have enough from life, so you didn't live it. 😈✌️❤

Best soundtrack ever

Just listening to this is better than actually playing Diablo 3 and 4. From Tristram all the way down to Hell the ambience in this game is spot on.

Blizzard North, called "Condor" before Blizzard bought and renamed them, right before they finished Diablo. They worked for years together, then left before Diablo 3 was done and went on to make `Hellgate: London` and `Torchlight` games. You can still hear the same composer Matt Uelmen and feel the souls of these creators in these games. Diablo 3 and 4 are made by different people, at Blizzard, with maybe millions of dollars in budget, but without that special talent what made Diablo 1 what it is (and later D2). Torchlight 1 is basically the same concept as D1, and even the town music is quite similar. Matt Uelmen is truly a maestro.

A score done during a time when the golden age of PC gaming was in the middle of unleashing itself upon the world, when Blizzard was feeding its fantasy IP's of Starcraft and Warcraft alongside this wondrous masterpiece, there are no other's that have yet matched the composition in question.

This music will always have a special place in my brain

To this day, this song is one of the most suspenseful dungeons songs I can think of. Every year or so my whole family spends a month and a half building a haunted house around Halloween for the community with all kinds of hand made monsters, animatronics, special effects, etc. This is the song that plays as you first enter :-)
