Once you have calibratied X and Y, check the sqareness of X to Y by measuring the two diagonals. If the DIFFEReNCE is more than 1mm you should check with Aeon how to adjust the gantry sqareness

I apologise for leaving critcal comments, especially because I know Aeon machines are excellent pieces of equipment. "And the one for the X axis is on the other side" Hmm ...I think not. The X axis motor will be on the gantry. "Too tight is not a good sign either" So what is too tight? All toothed belts experience something called belt climb. Watch the belt rise and fall as it either enters or exits the pulley. Tensioning the belt makes this phenomenon worse. It happens on the X axis as well and is specifically noticeable when scanning. Lightburn has a compensation for this called "Scanning Offset", however there is no such compensation for the Y axis. How about adjusting the tension on the other Y axis belt to keep the gantry square to the X axis? "The wobble could be because the belt is too loose or too tight" Hmmm that's helpful advice as well. "Be careful when you disble the backlash function because it may cause other problems" What other problems? I have several similar machines (not Aeon) and I thought the idea of a tutorial was to demonstrate how to solve problems. Did we see if adjusting belt tension solved either issue?

I apply double sided tape before lasering. Just peel after lasering and apply to other panels. So much easier and no cleanup. I also sand the edges after all done for a more finished look.
