As for the bow most think it was very likely a palintonos type of bow that is a recurve that is strung the other side of where is curved, rare at the time and so only Odysseus who owned it knew how to string it.

In the Odyssey, Ody’s mom saw their ships in the distance but then the windbag was opened and swept the fleet faraway. Depending on the story Ody’s mom saw and drowned herself or died of heartbreak.

I can’t decide which song from this saga is my favorite, Legendary was so upbeat and I love MICO as well, his voice is beautiful, I also love the personality and life he gives Telemachus. And I will say that the motif of “Where is he? Where is he?” will definitely come back up later. Also the SASS Telemachus gave Antinous?? “Don’t you DARE call my mother a tramp” and then Antinous shoot right back with “whatcha gonna do about it champ?” Had me DEAD DIED AND DECEASED. Little Wolf was really cool as well with him fighting Antinous and the introduction of Athena helping him, I loved her little part she switched up the “fight little wolf and show them you’ve got some bite, take advantage now and strike” little wolf is almost used in a teasing way by the suitors but Athena uses it almost like a nickname and not to taunt him in a way. We’ll be fine is a really good song, I like the way you interpreted it as her apology to Odyssey through his son, I never thought about it that way, and for some reason the line “maybe to fall is to learn one way” really hits hard, but that’s the thing I love about music, it’s really expressive and people take different things from it! Now Love in Paradise had a LOT to listen to, it was really deep and vulnerable for Odysseus in a way. I also love the instrument in the song like a hand pan/steel drum idk, along with the voice of Barbara Wangui for Calypso. I like how he keeps turning her down because he’s loyal to his wife and would do anything for her. And how Calypso think everything is just as fun as ever, and I agree with what you said you can’t really blame her because he’s all she’s ever known as someone to actually see in hundreds of years so you have to cut her some slack, but there definitely could’ve been a different approach when trying to comfort him when he’s struggling. And when he’s on the ledge she calls him “Ody” this is what Eurylochus called him in previous sagas. She also says “I’ll stay inside your heart” just like Odysseus’ mother does. As well as “stay in my OPEN ARMS” (POOR POLITES MAN HE KEEPS COMING BACK TO HAUNT US) but that’s why I think these are the three voices he hears at the end when he wants to go off the cliff. I also love all the call backs to previous sagas in the beginning, with Aeolus, Poseidon, Odyssey himself talking to Polyphemus, Circe, and Tiresias the Prophet. Now God Games REALLY has a lot to unpack, starting with Zeus really making it into a game as if he didn’t kill the whole rest of his crew smh. Then with the really bright “APOLLO” at the beginning of his bit, Jay said he wanted to make the introduction of each character reflect them with Apollo resembling a songbird or something like that since he is the god of music, he definitely didn’t want to be there or care that much 😭. Then Hephaestus, if was like gruff, like an old man kind of (Jorge’s father actually voiced him) and in the background of his snippet you can hear like bells or something which reminds me of metal clanging like in in a forge, he also gave zero cares about Odysseus. Then Aphrodite is like smooth and soft, and her voice is gorgeous (love her voice actor as well) and it’s kind of vibey as well, and how she wanted him to feel the pain his mother felt when he never came back. And then Ares fighting against Athena albeit a bit more than just sibling rivalry, Jorge said Athena was using Quick Thought on Aphrodite to try and get her to release him and then Ares uses his Quick Thought on Athena while she’s trying to focus on Aphrodite, that’s why she kind of is shouting “Ares” like he’s kinda messing with her brain because he is as well using his ability to make other people feel rage. and then he goes on to explain that Ody is a coward and then insults his son and then Athena was NOT having that, which I thought was a nice detail as well her being protective in a way of Telemachus. And then Hera was totally in her own words “Groovy” which I LOVED because she’s such an icon for letting him go because he’s loyal. but that’s all my takes on things I know it was just a long yap :/

I love Scylla, with the voice actor sounding so like rough and harsh even with the autotune scratched my brain in way, so that was a cool choice from Jay. I also liked the “deep down” part because it was so gentle and like haunting, and with Eurylochus admitting to opening the bag and Odysseus not saying anything back besides the torches (in most animatics he’s portrayed as one of the six to take the torches and he gives it to someone else to help, and then he watches that person die and realizes what Odysseus was doing) and then the part where Scylla and Odysseus sing together at the end “we must do what it takes to survive, we are the same you and I” really shows how he has become a monster, willing to kill a baby, letting the cyclops suffer, and sacrifice the six men to Scylla. ‼️spoiler for Ithaca saga from here‼️ Scylla aims for the torches to kill the six men, just as Odysseus does in the song Odysseus where he’s killing the suitors, I assume they’re like walking through the halls in the dark with torches looking for him or his son Telemachus to kill him and do what they wanted to his wife, and he’s hiding in the dark taking them out with arrows, hence the line “keep your head down he’s aiming for the torches” I think this ties back to “we are the same you and I” I might just be delusional 😭
