White bass are running around here now ( we call them stripe, I don't know the difference). You know the first people to eat asparagus were like "man this is awesome!" and then a few hours later thought they had poisoned their insides and were about to die. 🤣

My last fishing of last year I spent 6 hours and only caught one dink so your slow day looked like a fun day to me. I often use capers on salad but I never even thought to use them in a sauce.
