You know those RRP's you keep mentioning are the scam price and not actually yhe real price. Nothing on any of these Temu videos even come close to Temu's scam price. Its false advertising and you are helping to get scammed by not mentioning that fact, or you getting sponsored by Temu and dont want to upset them

I agree the final piece was the highlight of the haul. Three of those with a couple of complete buildings (farm house and barn) would make a great homestead. Add a few more buildings and you have a village.

"Teh-moo" Interesting. They all look pretty good but all of the shops in Temu are basically on AliExpress or Wish. I'd never buy anything off any of them though, especially Temu. The app is Chinese Government spyware.

Wel, after about a decade of 3D printing both with FDM and resin, I can tell you with a hundred percent certainty: No resin pieces in any of those sets. That's all FDM printed. They're pretty good value, sure, but they're not exactly the best examples of what FDM printing can actually accomplish. There's some seriously visible stepping and travel lines in the top layers. However, that's not necessarily a negative. Like you stated, resin prints (especially the cheaper ones, which are cheap mainly because they've been printed with cheaper resin) can be brittle and that's not a problem you're going to run into quickly with FDM prints, especially the chunkier pieces like terrain.

Those containers and walls are not resin, they are 100% FDM printed on PLA.

Best thing on Temu for wargames? Fake plastic aquarium plants. I have a whole table of jungle scatter terrain for £20.

Don’t forget to hit the temu price adjust up to 30 days after order placed. My price adjustments normally claw back 10-20% of my spend.

I think the air bubbles give the walls character, like walls from a church or whatever they start to weather after exposure to the elements

Glad I'm not the only one yelling in my head that those are FDM and not resin. Pretty decent for Temu FDM prints though, just use a filler primer to take away some of the layer lines.

thats FDM 3d printed. its about .30 cdn worth of filament. most likely just a free item of of thingyverse too. if your going to buy terrain on temu, save yourself a ton of time and money and just order a small FDM or resin printer. at those prices it will pay for itself very quickly. everything you showed off has the files available for free on thingieverse.

Disappointingly, it looks like those last bits are sculpts done by VaeVictis Miniatures (I recognise the Toll House/Guard outpost.) Looks like Temu sellers just rips off stls from creators and sells it off cheap. 😕 Wouldn't surprise me if the rest of the stuff wasn't similarly ripped.

I have bought a number of terrain items from Temu, the prices seem to change regularly up and down, so I suggest watching over a couple of days to get the best price. I would say most items are good value for money and do paint up very well. You need to check sizes carefully, as they vary and some items are either too big or too small for 28/32 mm minis. The ruin sets can be kitbashed fairy easily and I haven't had a problem with breakage when cutting items. The small fantasy houses are excellent and perfect to warhammer I would say. Temu does lots of other Wargames items, such as grass tufts, flock and trees in various sizes that are well worth a look. I bought the best pair of plastic sprue cutters also for next to nothing compared to GW or Army Painter prices.

First piece examined "looks like resin". Tell us you don't know what you're talking about without telling us you don't know what you're talking about. Clearly has FDM layering lines and build plate texture. Watching further into the video, yeah, everything so far is filament printing. Not a bit of it is resin so far. You should probably do a bit more due diligence before talking about your subject, otherwise you end up looking a bit like a clown.

As many people mentioned these are all FDM printed. I have both resin and FDM printers and love both, but they serve different purposes. I use the FDM (Flashforge Finder 3) for terrain. It's great for that as its cheap and it gets the point across as to what the piece is and they are durable enough to throw in a tote box for storage. The resin is for minis and small terrain pieces that need details (like sandbag bunkers with barbed wire). I'm getting a Bambu P1S soon that might be able to do more refined prints, but likely will not replace resin for minis. The biggest danger with 3D printing is its hard to stop once you get going. I have sooo many unpainted prints and yet I keep finding new things and printing those!

These are amazing. I like the shipping container and the modular sci-fi terrain. That would be awesome for a bit of a dungeon crawler, but would need to buy a couple. Thanks as always

I mean... there's no actual "RRP" on a 3-d printed model from a non-licenced,/unauthorised/pirated STL file. At a certain point just buy yourself a Bambulab A1.

Quite a good haul I reckon, a lot of different terrain. I use that hang tough glue, its the cheapest on the market!

layer lines, not "fingerprint texture". That being said, they're FDM 3D printed pieces, most likely PLA (they get soft and bendable at around 38-40 deg Celsius so careful in the summer). Some of them are designs that are Free or otherwise very cheap on Cults, however you do need a 3D printer, the cheapest but still quality ones are around 200 EUR either FDM (larger volume, less smell, less mess, harder to print more complicated things, cheaper raw materials, less work after the print, overall less "cost" for a part) or UV Resin printer (bit more messy if you don't use water washable resins which are a bit more expensive, more messy, finer details, can print more complicated stuff, a tad more expensive raw materials, less maintenance and calibration on the printer, overall more "cost" to the part because of the post processing time it takes with the washing, drying and curing); you can print these for yourself and much more. The prices you've mentioned are a bit steep on the parts, especially with the little amount of work you have to do after, if they were resin and had much finer details then yes, it would justify the price and most if not all of them would be fair priced. From experience the layer lines come up when dry-brushing, so more base layers are needed even on fine resin parts, more so the stepping found on round surfaces (so I sand them down a bit with fine grit before paint) and they don't take too well to very watered down paints, so try using Citadel paints as they are fresh out of the cup on 3d printed stuff at least for the first layer (most resins repel water) you shouldn't have much trouble with the FDM parts you got, on the walls and larger surface parts I would use as a base primer a filler primer just to eliminate some of the lines. TLDR, FDM kind of overpriced on most of them, if they were resin then they would be fair priced with the discounted price, not the PRP. Cheers!

Personally I’m very disappointed by the battalion box. Spearmen and archers feel extremely weak currently. Unless they get a major buff in the journal it’s pretty useless.
