Although i like both games but Ninja Gaiden got my vote.

Great game. Too hard for 6 year old me. Still loved it then, more now
@@ChiefGore429 I appreciate it a lot more today than back then.
Ninja Gaiden forever, Shinobi is a great old classic game, but there are very few games that can hold a candle to the original Ninja Gaiden.
@@segaofmyhouse I agree I had trouble coming up with arguments for Shinobi when compares to Ninja Gaiden.
I liked it enough to beat it twice.
You're a pro :D
If it had any other name than ZELDA on the cover, it would be a stand-alone beloved classic. It was just such a departure in style from the original that some fans rejected it. It is a well-made, challenging, and important part of the Zelda franchise.
Pretty much yes. I like how the Nerd put it. A standard wasn't made yet.
I absolutely detested this game when i was a kid
So did I to tell the truth.
I'm going to say Ninja Gaiden because not only has the ninja from that game gotten to appear in other franchises such as Dead or Alive, but there was also a Sega Master System version of Ninja Gaiden in addition to the NES version.
Ooh I didn't know that. Just that Shinobi had a NES port. I'll have to check it out.
@ It’s an exclusive version for the Master System that tells a completely different story.
Ninja Gaiden bro - it also has a much bigger legacy, imo.
I agree.
Where do you stand on the debate? Ninja Gaiden or Shinobi?
Gotta go with Ninja Gaiden, great vid TJ
@@carl6448 Thanks Carl glad you enjoyed it
This is like SMB2 US for me, I liked it as a kid and I like it today despite what everyone that is born after the PS2 came out say about it. Every kid that I knew back when it came out loved this game, all the hate came later.
Interesting how that works doesn't it? I personally think SMB2 is the best of the original trilogy, but I know I'm the unpopular opinion on that one.
One of these days, I will play through the entire game just to say I did it.
@@SekiroOnSwitch Same here.
I got it when it came out and loved it then. Playing through on switch years later was fun too because you could rewind and have save states. To me, it is very nostalgic. Not the best game but still very good.
@@AlexVonCrank My older brother had it on his NES but wouldn't let me play it. I didn't get to play this entry till the GameCube collection.
@tjsreviews-c4q some of those old games only had one save profile, so he probably didn't want you to mess up his save.
@@AlexVonCrank Probably. The reason I remember is because the game was gold and he didn't want me touching it.
Let me know what you think of Zelda II in the comments.
Let us know what you think of this Monster Rancher review ^_^
Gonna do another one of these?
@@SekiroOnSwitch Yes I tend to alternate between different series I do 😉
Let’s play FF7 😮
Or review.
@@SekiroOnSwitch I'm planning to review FFVII for the beginning of season four.
@@tjsreviews-c4q will be there day ONE.
@@SekiroOnSwitch You better be I'll be all like where Sekiro?
@@tjsreviews-c4q lmao yeah. My notifications are on. TBH I’m sick with a pretty awful sore throat rn though so hopefully it’s gone by the time it’s uploaded whenever that is lol
Very awesome
Thank you .Glad you enjoyed it, and welcome to the channel ^_^
You only got to experience half of the game. Once you try multiplayer you'll have a different outlook on Halo.
@@mosesjackson9665 Yeah I figured the main selling point of Halo was the multiplayer. Might be worth getting a Xbox Series X to experience the multiplayer.
@@tjsreviews-c4qno need for all that. If you have a PC you can still download and play the original halo combat evolved. Servers are still active and more fun the master chef collection.
I never played that one, it looks fun!
You haven't played it either? I suddenly don't feel so alone having not played this series before.
The Sonic games are really good but I'm gonna go with Mario 2. It may have been different but I have great memories from my youth with that game.
@@mosesjackson9665 Yeah Mario 2 was always my favorite of the original trilogy.
btw, gonna give it to sonic 2 - it's just a better game as a whole, not to knock mario 2.
@@SekiroOnSwitch I figured more people would go with Sonic 2.
NES bro
One of my favorite games of all time. Also one of most important games of my childhood.
@@SekiroOnSwitch Yeah man same here.
Great review, TJ! Just recently replayed this, it's held up very well. Personally, I think the third game (Warped) is the weakest of the original trilogy (although I have heavy nostalgia for the first game). My issues with Warped are some of the stages feeling like mini-games in lieu of actual stages. It's still an excellent game, but I think 2 > 3. What game is next on your review list?
@@SekiroOnSwitch Been a while since I played Warped but I always rated it last after 2 and 1. Next review is Zelda 2 Adventure of Link
@@tjsreviews-c4q nice, enjoy. zelda 2 is a unique, weird title.
@@SekiroOnSwitch It's been years since I played it so I figured since I reviewed the first one it was overdue.
Red and Green were the first games released in Japan. Blue and Red were the ones released in America.
@@mosesjackson9665 Yes thank you. I forgot about Pokemon Green
Blue came out in Japan after Greens glitch issue.
@@OWmyDragonballz And here I was thinking all this time they just switched to Blue because they thought Blastoise sold more cartridges. Thanks for the info ^^
Hello

Cool
Thank you ^_^
Good vid man.
@@Cnumbers Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Hello.
NES is better, just has gameplay that is more satisfying. In the end, it's more fun
@@segaofmyhouse Yeah it was pretty fun to play. I liked the platforming in it
I love this video it was very entertaining and I vote for the Sega Brat.
@@redfiredragon46 The Sega Beat will be pleased 😄
So…final fantasy VII review? 😮
@@SekiroOnSwitch I still don't have the game yet sorry.
@@tjsreviews-c4q lol no worries my man. Just happy to see you make content and have a good time.
@@SekiroOnSwitch Glad to hear it ^_^
Hey man, enjoyed the video! Who do you usually leave behind on Virmire?
Kaiden. Mainly because I like Ashley and I tend to romance Liara as Fem Shep.
@@tjsreviews-c4q oh nice! I usually do the opposite since I play 2 and 3 as a Vangaurd , and use Kaiden for the biotic combos in 3, until I get Liara.
@@y3llowdog Cool. I'm so used to just shooting everything I rarely use the power ups
glad to see you have so much fun. gonna say it again, but, really looking forward to seeing you review FFVII for PSOne lol
Thanks 😊 I'm guessing FFVII is a personal favorite of yours?
@@tjsreviews-c4q absolutely!
@@SekiroOnSwitch It's a lot of people's favorites. What do you think of the remake?
@@tjsreviews-c4q literally playing rebirth hard mode right now, as we type
@@SekiroOnSwitch Nice ☺️
Love to create fighters in this game
It's a shame they didn't have a Create a Wrestler mode.
Great video! Glad to see you took my advice serious. It's much more clearer, of what you're saying now in your videos. :)
Actually I recorded this before you gave your advice. When I read from a script I tend to read it too fast. Since this wasn't scripted I'm taking at a more normal pace. Something I'm going to try in future scripted videos. I'm glad you can understand me better here though.
I found this video very interesting.
Thank you 😊
Hey TJ, love your stuff. But it is getting hard to understand you in your videos with your lisp and the microphone quality. Your idea and execution of the video is great, and love the little jokes you do. But if there was a way for you to get better microphone quality, and get your lisp in order. I bet you can be a great youtuber, and among some of the best. Love you man <3
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to slow down my talking in future videos so you can hopefully understand me better. Do you know any good high quality microphones I could purchase?
@@tjsreviews-c4q The blue yeti from the yeti microphone company is a great choice. :)
I'll give them a go.
Very interesting.
Thank you 😊
I like it and it was very interesting.
Thank you 🙂
Cool review, thanks for checking out monster rancher 2 even if you didnt like it too much
Thanks if nothing else it made for a fun video 📸
Smashing that like button, keep it up bro - when are you gonna review FFVII?
Thanks I currently don't have access to my copy of FFVII but next time I visit my folks place I can grab it 🙂
@@tjsreviews-c4q looking forward to it!
Glad to see you back TJ!!!!
Glad to be back 😊
"before the days of ASS and GAY" hahahaha
This got recommended to me by youtube. Great video, love it. Dunno about how to fix it, but the thin lines in the vector style graphics are hard to see on the video, I actually thought some of the earlier asteroids clips were just black screens lol. Maybe something you can do in editing to make the visuals clearer for youtube? Either way, good stuff.
Yeah I noticed that too. Thanks for the input.
Great review! An early 2000s PS1 video game about arcade video games that were already classic in 2001.😊PS2 Atari Anthology has even more games. They made some great retro game compilations for the PS1,PS2 & PSP.
Thanks for the kind comment. I'll have to check PS2 Atari Anthology out some time ^_^
Who doesn't like a classic?
