I am a native Austinite 57 plus years. I am looking to retire and trying to leave this hellhole that was once a pleasent place. I have recently met a friend from Granbury and the town looks awesome.

Current resident of Benbrook and EVERYTHING spot on! Love living here, the cons werw just as accurate but outweighed by the pro!

I’m from Brownwood and looking for a more neutral place to have reach with parent in Brownwood and GrandSugar in Plano. When we lost out Kroger and kept coming to Grandbury to shop there and HEB has really made me come to look into Grandbury. Do they have some good non denominational churches? I’m loving the fact that even though it is growing, it’s still conservative! That’s important for Texas and I do hope this coming from the west understands that’s why they’re flocking here😂😂

Stopped by this town when I had a job out in Comanche Peak. It’s nice town the restaurant by the lake are real nice ,friendly people too

Too many loud young people

Hello, we were in granbury from end of June through September and I loved it. The people are the absolute best. Friendly and so polite, I was so amazed at the young community and how well mannered they are, best food with the absolute best customer service. I love this quaint small community, this is the best kept secret. Love Granbury and the people, I’m Hispanic and felt right at home. Love you Granbury ❤️

This town has WAY outgrown itself. Everything is incredibly congested and its essentially become one big retirement community. As such no one works and the road ways stay clogged all throughout the day.

We have 2,18 hole golf courses, that you didn’t mention and many restaurants. You need to update your video and we don’t want a Walmart. We want to stay small town live big !

We love Granbury, but finding the non HOA home we want seems very tough. We'll probably end up more near Weatherford or Springtown and just drive in. We wanted shop, greenhouse and chickens. The HOAs not poultry friendly and some even against the shop or greenhouse... Good video.

I dunno man, Granbury ain't what she used to be. I was there the other day and what it looked like to me, is that the town got invaded by californians. The traffic was high, and there were an awful lot of very expensive new luxury cars. When those people start putting up all kinds of apartment buildings, you can say goodbye to the niceness of Granbury. Apartments always make towns worse, never better. That's just the way it is.

I have watched many realtors videos. Josh, this is really good. For those of us that don't live in Granbury, and have been contemplating buying or renting there, it is cool to see your guidance through the maps and communities. Do you handle rentals too (3-12 mth) ?

Granbury is retirement city. I bought a vacation home in the Pecan Plantation 7 yrs ago. I like that it's very safe and secure in the community but it is way too far from the big cities. From restaurants, theater, activites etc. So if you're close to retired or are retired Granbury is a very good place to settle down in.

One thing to know is that the Benbrook Police fear the citizens so much they keep their weapons drawn, shooting first and asking questions (most for your ID) later

This is an area where prices are way too high and will be plunging down. Demand for housing is at multi-year lows and the drop in interest rates hasn't increased demand. Give it time until the sellers finally are forced to cut prices to sell.

Sounds like it's growing too fast for my taste. I'll be moving from the South TX coastal bend area of Rockport, and it's growing too fast. I don't want to get into another place that I spend my days wataching new constuction ruin my views.

Most of the folks moving to Weatherford work in DFW. They ought to know already that it'll be a battle to commute, but you'd be remiss to not make note of it. It's limited to the interstate, but it does get to standstill at a certain time of the late afternoon on workdays. You should also tell them that you don't hardly notice the change of townships as you drive east to FtW, except for that bit of open land where I20 splits with I30. You can drive from Weatherford to Harker Heights, Aledo, and then Benbrook and not notice you ever left one city and entered another if you don't know the area and aren't paying attention to the signs. The small town charm is away from the growth around the interstate where Target and Film Alley are, farther into old Weatherford, but most folks are getting into the new development at the edge of town near the interstate.

I visited your booth this year at OSH24. I can't remember the young lady's name, but she was awesome. Explained a lot of great things about PP. As a pilot, I cannot tell you how much I'm ready to leave Arizona and move out there just to live with my plane.

The majority of the trees were allowed to die and most are now dead; so why would anyone pay the high cost for the lots and then pay another $20,000 to remove all the dead trees?

Lived there 12 years. The pecan trees are dirty . Squirrel chewed thru my roof Mice dying in the walls leaving a horrible smell. Far from 377. Moved to DCBE.

No, everyone from the s-holes in NE, East and West Coasts, and the larger metro cities, don't move to Granbury. You'll mess it up, just like I did when I moved from San Jose CA to Buda, Austin, and Georgetown. These vids need to emphasize the Cons so the weak-minded, opinionated types won't move to Granbury.
