Worst interview. Anyways, David Berry is such a great actor & portrays LJG really well. I hope to see him more in the upcoming seasons of OUTLANDER & petitioning for a spinoff series of LJG as well.

I read a historian's criticism of the amount of sexual violence in the show. He said that in the 18th century, people in Europe and European immigrants to other countries (like the Americas) tended to be very religious. It was mostly taken for granted that breaking commandments would result in being punished by God, either in this world or the next. So although there were certainly criminals, cruelty, and so on, the kind of frequent -- almost casual -- violation we see in Outlander wasn't the norm, because religion was such a part of everyday life. I like the way this scene demonstrates that truth.

And David is SO talented and SO professional. It must be rather frustrating making the effort to show up for an interview and be repeatedly discounted. They seem genuinely jealous!

Love him! Amazing that he used to get their coffee 10 years prior. A bit awkward interview, but, he fielded the questions with grace. I am so happy for his landing that role on Outlander. He is magnificent...could not imagine any other person playing that part. I wish him continued success and happiness. Love your Aussie accent as well as your English accent.
