I know that there are racist and sexist people out there that are nuts and unreasonable because they dont want ANY of them in the game. However, this does not necessarily mean this is what i have a problem with. My main concern is that the old AC games at least kept themselves grounded in the time period like Italy having an italian protagonist, altair being fitting for his setting ect. I always wanted an AC game in Japan because that is just a good setting for this kind of game. I just dont understand why cant they just have a game set in japan have an asian protagonist. Even if he did exist, which he did, does not mean he should be the main character. He would make a great side quest character as one of those npc you meet out in the world and perhaps do missions with but it just does not feel right for me to have him in lead role. Not like i care much about new titles, this games have become something else than the old ones.

Not that im complaining, not saying i would buy it. (almost) everyone would rather have the protagonist be a traditional japanese asian samurai. (just for the history accuracy and aesthetic)

On this recent viewing, I was actually appalled. It wasn't that anything he said was actually wrong, but it wasn't what the Nation either wanted or needed to hear. When you're struggling with your budget, you don't want to hear how you should be less concerned with material things. It might be true for some, but it's not the right message at such a time. Reagan, on the other hand, was a master of putting a positive spin on things, whether it was warranted or not (and to be fair, it was probably the way to lean at that time, though many didn't see it that way).
