@dw3676 I own a landscaping company, so I do have the equipment you mention. I cut 21 yards on the day you see here so I have to be efficient. In my experience I found the weedeater to be the best, especially if I push the majority of the clippings to the grass. Taking the push mower off the trailer and using it just takes too long, I will only use a push mower if it’s an absolute must. Appreciate your input though…it was definitely educated.

@@seanslawns it's probably the same amount of time with the push mower and the weed wacker. You have all those clippings that you have to blow up and plus it gives it a nicer cleaner look. You don't have all the clippings in the bed which creates weeds. Then you're spraying Roundup or pulling by hand. Try it a couple times and give it an honest shot. I would rather edge, mow with a bag and blow it off than all the weed whacking. You can carry all that equipment at once and just set it off to the side. Push the mower, hang on to the edger and have a backpack blower so you're not going back to the truck at all. For what you are cutting, the bag on the mower is adequate. You are getting the right price for that property. It's a lot of detail and it shows what you have put into it.

@damienbruch851 I suppose you can only get paid what you quote someone. I have never been afraid to give higher quotes and lose the business. I end up with less accounts at a higher return, so less work too obviously.

I see it could be assumed I left the clippings in the middle of the road, my apologies. I’ll do better next time with the explanation. I cleaned them up at the end but I didn’t show it because I thought it was boring.

@jasonc__ you’re correct, that would be a “douchebag thing to do”, so that’s why I didn’t do that. If I blew clippings into the street and left it there, every single neighbor would contact my client and besides I don’t do things like that. I wouldn’t stay in business. It was pushed into a pile, near the public beach access and bagged up. It’s a run down alley that I also clean up every few weeks for free. I cleaned it up yesterday when I went back to cut this yard again.

I have a few mowers, it’s quicker for me to use the weedeater. I cut about 20 yards on this day so I’m against a clock.
