7 Years of Learning Russian Progress| American Speaks Russian
Sadly i already do it that way, what means for me that allthough i am doing it right it is painly slow :/
This is how I learned how to speak/read Russian tbh it's a lil hard because the English language is wayy more complicated so you gotta dumb yourself down a lil
you confused the two columns: accusative and dative
Although Japanese has served me well throughout the last 3 decades in both social and professional settings, I am now at a crossroads with learning a 2nd foreign language. Mandarin Chinese? Vietnamese? Brazilian Portuguese? I just don’t know if I will be able to use any of them professionally before I retire. If I use the meetups in my area as guides, then Mandarin Chinese and French are the clear winners.
Wow your voice sounds so great when speaking Hindi (I don't speak it but it sounds very nice).
Привет! Поделись, пожалуйста, как называется твой русский канал?
Привет! Канал называется «Ayan Singh USA» и ссылка на этот канал находится в описании видео под названием «How I Would Learn Russian (If I Could Start Over)»
@PolyglotCorner отлично, спасибо!
Yes! I am learning the Russian language on Duolingo. I keep wondering why they aren’t teaching the conjugations and no mention of caste. Thank you for this breakdown and resources you included! I would love some Russian music recommendations please 🙏🏽 ❤
Not joking, but i learned Russian cause of the pre-trash influencers, i like this kind of content
should we learn to write or to speak first?
Speak. Writing with pen and paper requires you to also know cursive cyrillic, and I personally would not like deal with that yet. However ; what I am doing is learning the virtual keyboard setup (йцукен) alongside the alphabet - this means i have to multitask but it also means when the time comes i can take down notes on like google docs instead of having to write. 1. Learn sounds of letters, recite alphabet 5-6 letters at a time, 2. Look at a cheatsheet/legend for the keyboard, try typing out the letters in alphabetical order without looking. 3. Once everything is learned look for a test online and start matching letters over and over until it is stuck in your head. Once thats done just keep making sure you're pronunciation is right as you learn new words and phrases.
Mi bro habla como todo un español, te recomiendo escuchar otros acentos para que encuentres palabras nuevas que solo se usan en ese tipo de acentos, por ejemplo en Latinoamérica jamás se dice vidio, si no video, cheers mate <3
I'm here to win a bet but I've been up for so long I'm gonna sleep
Why'd you have to say irregardless :(
i have no idea how to indenefy the gender and im russian😂
I know I’m a bit late😭 but what were those discord servers??
You're sexy ;)
I feel we forced you to learn Portuguese by using you as an interpreter in Portugal when you didn’t even speak the language then 😂 you’re welcome?
That's exactly what happened, I had no choice 😅 but here we are now😂
hey man i wanna hear some russian music, any recommendations? i also need the links for some of the russian speaking discord servers, please and thank you🙏
Look up russian post punk, some of it is just teenage whinning and complaining (Not all, mind you), or some other variation of depressing lyrics but it sounds good. Only band I could name off the top of my head is Ploho but there are others out there. Spend enough time on youtube just looking at russian music and you'll get random recomendations.
Privyet, Can you please share some recommendations for songs, artists, movie and Tv shows in Russian. Also, please share the discord link that I can connect to. This would really help me!
If you want to kill all desire for learning Russian, “study” the case system. This is very bad advice. Learning Russian cases through “context” is crucial because it helps you understand how cases function in real-life situations, making them practical and memorable. Instead of overwhelming yourself with rules and endings, focusing on phrases and sentences shows you how cases naturally affect meaning. This approach allows you to internalize patterns over time, making it easier to use cases correctly without overthinking grammar.
Hey Ayan, this is Faiz! I’ve checked out your channel, and your videos are truly fascinating👏. I’d love to collaborate with you on a conversational video for my channel. Let me know if you’d be interested in working together.
Omg only three genders im moving there right yesterday
Que maneiro ! Adorei ver você falando português ! Eu sou brasileira e morei 8 anos aí no Texas e além de falar o Inglês , Español, Italiano , Alemão e Russo , também estou aprendendo agora o Grego , pois vim estudar e morar na Grécia. Adorei seu vídeo ! Também adoro aprender várias línguas ! Parabéns pelo vídeo e sua dedicação.
What culture? i just want to learn so that i can understand my gf when she's mad and decided to leave me on english
You speak too fast
I am currently learning Russian
bro is a yapper , get to the point Baljeet !
"Oh gosh, no way Russian's conjugation system is so simple" -> "Yeah, there's a catch here alright, now I gotta go over all the verbs I already know just so I get to know their perfective partner or something" -> "Ok, this is hell on Earth, who thought Купить being perfective was a good idea" -> "Those preffixes have meanings!?"
You're my idiol😊
Bruh , your Russian is zaebiz` ( perfect) ! 👍
Caspita che bel ragazzo e complimenti per il tuo italiano!
15:48 - "Eu também consigo falar português" would be the correct way of saying it, although we usually simplify it by saying "eu falo português". Side note: unlike English, in Portuguese when we refer to the language name we write it with a small "p" at the beginning (português) and when we refer to the people, we write it with a capital letter at the the beginning (Português).
Hi there’s thanks for the great video! I’d love to hear more about your fav music in Russian and Russian artists you follow plus it would be good to know the links to discord channels you use to practice Russian
I'm currently learning French, but it's not easy when I speak✋ Bonne chance! French Learners
Well done!
Great video. Thanks
👏👏👏👏
I am convinced that Italian is easier than Spanish and far easier than French for an English speaker. Not so useful, but easier because of its consistency, limited vocabulary and more phonetic than Spanish and especially more than French. As per vocabulary, there far more common word than in the other 2 languages, or at least the same as in French (even if they are not always the same ones). Portuguese - that someone suggested in the comments - it's not easy at all, because of the impossible pronunciation and cadence.
Ihr Spanisch ist ausgezeichnet, oh, sehr wunderbar. Wenn ein Mann seine Augen schließen und dich sprechen hören würde, würde er das Gefühl haben, dass du Spanier bist, so klares und 100 % perfektes Spanisch ❤❤❤❤💞
I wish I could speak Russian too, It a beautiful language
I don't know if you're like me, but I don't translate the words in my mind, if I'm speaking English I'm thinking in English, if I'm speaking Portuguese I'm thinking in Portuguese...
I speak Brazilian Portuguese, English, Spanish and now I'm learning Italian
Witch english you speak or spanish?
@joaoteixeira7410 I went to an American English school, and I think mexican Spanish
I’m amazed you could learn so many languages. What wasn’t covered though is HOW you learnt different languages and what’s the best way to learn French for example.
A.I.
I just proud of you so much it isn't easy to speak all these languages and even hearing them was confusing for me😭🤣 Keep going ❤
I really hope that you would make one video where you share your exact language routine, from a beginner to reaching fluency. It will be helpful and inspiring for all of us who are losing hope
Your video has motivated me to continue learning portuguese but have no one to practice with because its hard to find anyone that speaks portugal portugese let alone portuguese😢
Thank you for this video, so motivating!! My goal this new year is to learn tamil mostly read and write. My dad is from here, Tamil Nadu. My other target language is Russian! The grammar is mostly what worries me. How did you learn the grammar when you first started?
