Wild coast Kei - Getting the Hilux..... & Wifey dusty on an outing.
Waking up on a windy Saturday morning the better half decided we needed to explore some of the gravel roads other side of Kei Mouth- but not the 4x4 route, with the idea to fish and maybe do a hike along the coast line which all turned out completely differently ...........

If you like warm sea water, friendly people, beaches and amazing fishing and diving, well then you just have to go and visit. It was our first trip to Mozambique, different to most of our other trips but so memorable.

Your Hilux enjoys lifting its wheels. Great video again 👏🏾
I saw this hilux in Cartcath SA,I even took pictures with the beast ❤
Thank you for this video, I m a local and always thought I want to try the Matebeng route to sani pass via mokhotlong but I just learned it's not for the faint hearted...I enjoyed❤❤❤
@@BoikanoGM lol thank you very much , I’m glad you enjoyed it and I envy you living in such a beautiful place. I is worth the travel, you should try it. 🙏🏻
@graveltravels one day...needs some more practice
Hi I found your channel atleast , will be subscribing 👍👍
@@dare2view Hi Randy, much appreciated. I will go and check out your fun times too 👍🏻
What made you change to General Grabber from the Gripmax tyres?
@@ivanortmann7511 The Gripmax’s was great, got around 65k km out of them and in that time I bought two new ones because of side wall damage ( my fault not the tyres ) but the Grabbers being not much more in price, thicker side walls for 4x4’ing and also a local tyre ,it made more sense changing over. Which tyres do you run? And what’s your take on the Grabbers?
Hi, really great Video, I met you on the Way up with my Mom!
@@nplays2847 Hi, I remembered, I still asked if you guys were from America right? How was your holiday in the mountains? And thank you very much for the awesome comment, glad you enjoyed the video 🙏🏻
Thanks for this video. I'm moving to Kenton on Sea in November and simply cannot wait to get out see all those places.
You are going to love the area, and the people are just amazing.
When is my invite?
LOL Hy Budo, we seriously need to set a date. We have a trip planned in two weeks and then we need to go that way and also take a fishing rod!!!!!
Ahh, jou video bring goeie herinneringe!
Great video!
@@graveltravels Baie dankie! Sal jou laat weet!
@@graveltravels Hi daar, ek wil net laat weet ons het 'n "ball of a time" by Balloch gehad!
Lovely episode man, this looks and sounds really enjoyable!

@@seddonopholis thank you very much. Yes the mountains around here are just amazing, and the fact that we can camp and enjoy it makes it even more special.
thanks that was great, tell me did they allow you to camp on that point of the track ,I would like to do that
@@lawrenceramese7014 Thank you very much. Yes you are allowed to camp even in the car park they said and at no extra cost and it is safe. Most people camp on top of the mountain or in the hike in caves also completely free and safe. Truly a great experience
Unbelievable beautiful, the mountains the hiking trail ,but that's a little bit to extreme for your old mom,but what another stunning video. Never stop looking for the next adventure....❤❤

@@MJ-lz1km I’m not sure but what I could get from the owner is that it has been in his family for sometime but I’m not sure about the details. A lovely place though
The 90km road to Sehlabathebe has officially been opened and it's beautiful, I'm about to visit this December this road is going to make things a lot easier and boost tourism there!
@@Rorshach94 Lovely, I must be honest, I thought the roads in Lesotho was really not bad and for the adventure seekers they offer so much off road terrain. I hope you have a super holiday and travel safely, it’s such a lovely country.

Good fun. Loved Cape Vidal and the whole area. When you went to the croc place, we thought we might see our buddy/guide Johann who does a show with the crocs. They call him Dundee........
Truly an amazing place, missed my fishing rod though lol We would have loved to see the show, our timing was off, think they only feed/show over weekends. But I can just imagine Crocodile Dundee fitting in 100% in that Croc Centre lol
LOl just the idea of sleeping whilst knowing there could possibly be a lion just outside is mind blowing
I agree, again just another reason for loving this place so much.
Wow flippen nice dankie vir deel julle. Content as always epic. Cant wait for the next GT episode cheers

It's ESwatini, please its ESwatini.
Apologies, I out of habit talking to people about the country and always having to refer back to the old name. 🤦♂

We were in Hlane in 2019. Didn't see any wildlife, but the Swazi people were wonderful. The staff kept the restaurant open late as we drank many bottles of wine with a young dutch couple.

lol baie waar, ek moes vinnig leer maar groot pret ☺️
Great video, great park! ❤
Thank you very much. We love this park. We are very fortunate to live in this amazing place.
A very enjoyable video, I did the trip a couple of years ago with some friends and we went and stayed in the Richtersveld after the Namakwa trail. It looks like you have large diameter rims, either 17" or 18" I guess, which means you can't drop tyre pressure sufficiently for the soft sand. The result of this is you getting dug in and stuck regularly, so maybe have a look at getting smaller rims and tyres with a higher sidewall, that will make life lot easier!
Thank you very much. Yes, that's correct, I have kept the standard 18'' rims on only because I`ve gone and ordered a set plus two spare Tyres for this size before realizing my mistake lol but the digging was fun nevertheless lol I will upgrade the wheel set next, something with more Tyre for sure, essentially with the weight I`m carrying. Thanks for the interest and advise.
Nice one as always guys. Love that you put a line in the water when you get an opportunity. Looking forward to the next trip.
Hey Frank, thank you very much hopefully next time I actually catch something lol but nevertheless it’s always a pleasure just being out there.
