I had one installed my '21 ST right after I got it. I did borla exhaust first thing then the aFe Momentum and their strut bar. IC later on.

What gears are in the car?
The only fox to build is a notch that hatch will bend and twist no matter what. Weakest part of the car even with moderate HP anything over 500- 600 that is twisting even a full bolt in sub that i see will twist this eventually. I love these cars but they will break. Its like dating a girl way out of your league. You cant fix it even for 200k.

If it bolts onto a fox, it will bolt on to the new edge chassis. I have an 03 cobra subframe in my 86 notch

Thought the same thing. How come ride tech specifically lists it has 79 to 93? Also if you try to order from American muscle and do a vehical fitment check it says it does not fit 99-04.

Looks amazing but then it has its “brotha uuuhhh” … not sure what it is. I don’t like the suspension or transmission setup. That’s just me. And the gap inside the engine bay to the suspension makes it look like a hot rod, which I don’t like. From 1-10 I say a 7 for me. Guy sounds like a douche, otherwise a 7.5 😂
I think it's a nice system but super pricey. They should be working with the big foxbody channel's to get the word out on the system.

sn95 is still a fox chassis.
@@ItsDaJax A New Edge is a SN95 and a SN95 is a Fox, but A Fox isn't a SN95 and a SN95 isn't a New Edge. I'm not sure if you knew this or not.
@A.J.1656 A "new edge" is a SN95. It's a revamp, not a different generation or platform. That's like saying the 71-3 aren't on the Falcon platform(They are, and so is the Maverick/Comet, and Cougar). The SN95 is a modified Fox platform with a different wheelbase and track width, that isn't that far off from the fox Thunderbird, Cougar, and Mk 7, and probably the wagons and Futura. The SN95, like most Mustangs have had redesigns. 94, 95-7, and 98-04. 94 was the last Windsor 302, and had horizontal tail lights, 95 went back to traditional tail lights, and 98 was a complete body redesign. They still have the same interior for all years. It's still a fourth gen. Just like 70, 71-3 are still first gens, and the 10, 12-13, 14-16 are still S197 fifth gens. Calling 98-04 New Edge is the same as calling 87-93 fox bodies, Aeronose. Still a SN95, Still a Fox. All the suspension components will bolt up under any fox car, which was every non full size rwd car until the debut of the Escort/Lynx, Tempo/Tracer, Taurus/Sable/Continental, and MN12(which the Mk8s platform is basically is) platform. Quite a few 79-86 fox body owners were putting Cobra IRS in them, or K members and rear axles from sn95 cars. The fox body k member and axle will bolt up under a sn95, although both are narrower by about an inch, at least for 96-04 cars.

Yes, yes, but who did the flares? There are many aftermarket suspension systems for the Fox but the limiting factor is always the stock wheelwell clearance.
Probably tiger racing bolt on flare extensions that got molded in.
even then its 4-5k to do it.
We bought the flares off of Ebay. Fenders were cut out, and flares molded in from the back side. Adam Young from Young Guns in Akron, Ohio did the body work. I'll include a link to the flares separately. If you want Adams's number, I can provide it.
3200lb with glass doors and hatch, thats a led lined fox body 😂
Nah, that's about what a GT hatch weighs. A 2.3 hatch base, is roughly 2600lbs. The cage of course is going to put weight back in it, the engine and trans is going to be heavier than a 302/T5 combo, the IRS is heavier, though lighter than the Cobra IRS, that's about 80lbs more than the 8.8 SLA.

Its more with coilovers and that's not expensive at all. Roadstershop foxbody full chasis all in cost me 34k. Not inc labor to install, tubs, wheels ,tires, ect. They spent millions in tech they are not going to give it away. Go online get crap built control arms, suspension, rack, coilovers its 6k. This is so much better. I think you are stuck in 80s..
Those wheels are 15k alone without tires, 6500 in brakes, that's 200k plus fox body

@@mrb6144I agree to an extent but what is on this car is far from low quality parts. Those yates heads alone are 5k fully assembled. Speed costs, how fast do you want to go? This car has more money spent on wheels and tires than I do on my whole coyote swap but eh, without these expensive parts being made, everyrhing else would be 2 times more expensive.
I know they’re trying to maximize the advertisement, but why would you choose to engrave “Fox Factory” and “RideTech” on the intake manifold of all places? Why not engrave the name of the actual manufacturer of the intake manifold instead? Car looks incredibly cool, I bet it GETS DOWN around a track. And 47 is my lucky number haha!
It is a great example of the fox body but to be the ultimate, you have to build the coupe. They are better looking, lighter, and have better torsional rigidity that the hatch. Ford dropped the ball by using the hatch for the hot versions of the car.
As Ford needed a version with a trunk they had to compromise the styling. The coupe design is more rigid but the hatch has a more flowing upper line, as the roof gradually tapers off to the tail.
This might be the ugliest foxbody ever. I mean cool fab work dude but this is incredibly far away from the best fox "ever"

3D print a full lower windshield trim piece. The cowl delete is cool. That unfinished center area where the cowl used to be isnt.
This is a very confusing concept. It's not a drag car, and it's not a road race car. Street Fighter maybe? But it's evidently what the customer wanted. At least they got the rear spoiler correct.

I see and appreciate all the work done here, but why not finish the one most obvious detail? The only time I see empty holes is on a abused car sitting on the side of the road for sale.

Ridetech released an SLA 2 years (possibly 3 now 🤔) for $3,300 and don't have to weld the frame rail mount for the upper A-arm it's a bolt up design in case you choose to go back to the original modified McPherson strut setup.
@@ridiculousreptiles7045 The Ridetech setup is not $3300. That number you quoted only gets you the base components. It doesn’t include the coil overs, a sway bar or brake brackets. The cheapest you can do the Ridetech setup is $4260 and that’s still not including a sway bar. And it’s inferior to the DSE setup because Ridetech focused on packaging rather than making it as good as they could, hence that short upper control arm design and using a short shock as well which we’ll politely call a “compromise”
A premium strut setup (k-member, tubular control arms, coilover strut, caster/camber plates) is about $2500. Another 2 grand for an SLA sounds reasonable. The benefit is not only an improved camber curve but more inboard space for wider wheels.
Just a show piece. Nobody is driving that. 600 hp on the street is too much for 99% of people. Reminds me of Rick Dobbertin's J2000 of the 80's. Big money art project that isn't usable for anything but looking at.
