    dont radiant barriers needs an air gap on the foil side to work?

      @@tridave9811 Yes. You are correct. That was an issue I had with the building inspectors. One made me put it in and the next failed my inspection for having it over the rigid foam. I had to get the architect and engineer involved. Thankfully I found that radiant barriers are not required for my climate zone. The architect and engineer wrote a letter to the building department for me so I could move forward.

    hi, I am in nova scotia, canada and just traded my 2021 kubota l2501 in for a 2018 branson 3725ch ( cab / hydrastatic) I found the kubota lacking for power and the dealer made me a good offer to trade, it should get here tommorow as they are given it a full service. the kubota dealer is 3 minutes away and the branson about 6 minutes away but they lost the branson dealership last year and the nearest one is an hour away now. I missed a cab while plowing snow and a heater of course, the kubota is open cab and we got snow last night and is still snowing here, I liked your video and there is not much on branson tractors on youtube so "thanks for your info"

      I feel you. My dealership is almost 3 hours away so I change all my fluids and make the repairs myself. I kind of wish I had got the hydrostatic and cab as well. My 3725 has treated me well. I work it harder than it was probably designed for and broke a couple of things along the way. My biggest complaint is the DPF. I don't think the regen works very well on the Branson. My dealer wants me to run the engine at 2200 rpm's all the time which isn't convenient for using it around a construction site. If I was farming, I could see running the constant rpm while tilling etc. Now I pull the DPF and clean it instead. I made a video on that as well. Good luck with your new tractor and thanks for watching/leaving a comment.

    Is that common practice to have I joist in open crawl spaces with a bare dirt grade? Any concern with moisture or a pipe leaking on the osb? I’m considering using I joist on my future project! They seem like a great product Also what about ever creating shields if you did have a high pressure leak on the pipe to protect the joist? Thanks great video!subscribed great content to learn from

    • @HamiltonServices530
      @HamiltonServices530 18 днів тому

      I am not sure if it is common practice to have exposed I-joist to dirt. This was the first time using them. My engineer required a moisture barrier (bituthene tape) where the ends of the joists came in contact with the cement foundation. I did not see any code requirement or detail from my structural engineer for shielding the joists from plumbing. The I-joist made for a sturdy floor and allowed for longer spans between the girders with essentially the height of a 2x10 (9-1/2"). We also installed a 15 mil thick moisture barrier made by Stego in the whole crawlspace. You can see the sheets hanging down the foundation walls and around the post bases in this video. We finished rolling out the rest of the moisture barrier and sealing it off in a later video once the plumbing was done. Additionally, we have installed dehumidifiers in the crawlspace since we chose to go with an unvented crawlspace due to being in a wildland fire area. This is the first time ever building a high performance/efficiency house so it has been quite the experience. Good questions. Thanks for subscribing!

    • @HamiltonServices530
      @HamiltonServices530 3 місяці тому

      I am not familiar with those model numbers as Air Scrubber model numbers. I think those are UV bulbs only when I search those model numbers. When started comparing the numbers on the LSE lighting website (UV bulb manufacturer), the differences were either the UV wavelength (245nm or 254nm) or the length of the actual bulb (8-1/2" or 8-3/4") or whether or not the bulb produces ozone. I am not a UV bulb expert so I could not tell you what the difference in wavelength does. Some states have outlawed ozone producing items so those bulbs may not available in some areas. I am in California and have to get the non-ozone producing replacement cartridge. The Air Scrubber replacement number I need is 9950231 or US71088. Not sure if this helped or muddied the water even more?

    • @HamiltonServices530
      @HamiltonServices530 3 місяці тому

      It looks like the Grace Ice and Water Shield is not fire resistant and would not meet the class A fire resistance requirements for the WUI zone where we are building. The roof was covered with Titanium FR which is a peel and stick. I then used Polystick XFR, which is also a fire rated peel and stick, to roll up the side of the curbs. Then to make it even more waterproof, I used the foil backed flashing tape to cover the Polystick since it was easier to get all the way to the top of the skylight curb. I guess the only thing I could have done better is add another layer of the flashing tape over the metal roof flashing before adding the final skylight flashing. It is nice to hear you are using quality materials as well. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

    At the beginning I believe you said the dehumidifier is basically an air conditioner. This is not correct at all. The air coming out of the exhaust should actually be anywhere from 10-15 degrees warmer than the air going in. It will be much dryer air. But this is NOT an air conditioner. It does work in conjunction with the A/C to remove moisture from the air. But it is not, nor should it put out cold air. The output should be hotter than the input. I have worked on these for years and I have installed tons of them myself. The evaporator coil will cool their air below the dew point. This is why you get condensation from the system. Then it goes to the condenser coil. This makes the air hotter. The purpose of this is because warmer air has a higher latency. However at this point the air is hotter, it is also dryer.

    The customer service you received and them sending out the replacement right away is why I'm going to buy the 80 unit from them. I'm putting it in a laundromat where everything has to be reliable and support a phone call away.
