I've watched more guitar build videos than I'd like to admit, but I've NEVER seen anything close to this. Your blending of handwork, CNC, 4 dimensional calculus, CAD, ingenuity, perservenance.. The tone at the end was a great payoff. wow - so much depth and clarity. This is a masterpiece. thanks for sharing.

So many cool ideas! Have you tried a steambox for bending thicker material? Depending on how much you'd use the thicker material, it could very much be worth it. Also really like the scarf joint on the neck, not only does the wave lock it in place it also increases the surface area making it stronger. Hella cool guitar in the end.

How did you measure the position of the frets? And how many frets between the tuning bridge to the body of the guitar body? Just curious. (Back in the ‘60s I made a couple of guitars and nobody could or wanted to answer me those questions, not even the guitar workshops. They told me: “secrets of the trade. I had to figure out all by myself) So I just wonder how did you manage?

Nice build and great to see you document it in this much detail, thanks! Normally watching people build guitars using CNC's can be a bit boring, but like you said, you're doing something unique here which would be otherwise either impossible or very time consuming. I also believe that most people who complain about CNC use are hobbyist builders who can take their time and do everything manually. It's just not viable when you're running a business.

it could have been 24 frets by placing the bridge closer to a longer neck but keeping same scale length. it could have been true temperament frets. it could have been non symmetrical scalloped. it could had curvature for the lap line of cut blood flow on leg, it could have been designed so the right clavicle and shoulder is not permanently elevated. it could had a titanium locking nut. it could had tuners from this century. it could had a neck thin like ibanez wizard. it could have been slanted to the front in order to reduce tendonitis in the wrist tension instead of showing to the player the fretboard. total price of your FURNITURE? i wouldn't even pick up if found in the garbage bin. revolutionary? no way, it cannot be more conservative.

I should ignore such troll comments, but sometimes there is something to be learned from them. 1. Taking every single idea you read about on the internet and jamming it into a single guitar isn't revolutionary either. 2. The title is a bit of hyperbole. It's normal for UA-cam. Everyone should know that by now. 3. I could have made it 24 frets, I could have scalloped them and slanted them, but neither me nor my client liked that. 4. By changing the shape of the guitar to make it more ergonomic I would have sacrificed top area and therefore sound. 5. I like my tuners. They work. Never seen a locking nut on a guitar without a tremolo. 6. The neck is shaped like my client wanted it to be. No wizardry about it. 7. The neck is actually slightly tilted toward the player to, not only make seeing the fretboard easier, but also to have the same string hight from low to high e at the bridge. So go ahead and do better. Make a video of the build and show it to the world. It would be interesting to see that abomination of a guitar.

@cannaguitars4593 i am inventor of the law of harmony the only person in the world who knows all the chords and scales and since 1995. i am also the inventor of the best piano ever, and i also developed one of the best guitars ever after 3 years of developing 14 hours a day with the investigation of 700 luthiers. i only mentioned the tip of the icebergs and you called me troll. no. i am a critic. and way better luthier than you. i contribute to the developement of technology. you don't get it. i never mentioned slanted frets but true temperament. i never said scalloped but assymetrical scalloped, which is substantially different, especially onna true temperament. of course your client doesn't have demand for something doesn't know. you are closed minded and a denial. no. you couldn't have made it 24 PLAYABLE frets where the 24th fret happens before meeting the body, because you cannot even imagine to place the bridge somewhere else, even if i already explained it you don't take the time to imagine it. my proptotype has 70 revolutionary changes. no clickbait, but truth. i've been thinking researching how it would be the best guitar ever. you didn't do this homework, you only do donuts. only 3 out of 700 luthiers i found open minded, one been benincaso, the luthier of muse matt bellamy. the guitar with touchpad. you have no idea talking me like this. i am the god of music.

This is really interesting. I feel like you're kind of doing the Ovation thing where it has a curved back to project the sound back toward the front of the guitar but you're doing it in wood instead of carbon fiber.

Here is how I feel about CNC machines, if the point is to prove how good you are at traditional woodworking so tou can impress people then its important to build ecerything by hand, but if the point is to build the best guitar possible then it really doesn't matter because "being a great woodworker," isn't even the point. It's secondary to building a great guitar. We just have to accept the fact that there are some things that CNC machines do that are better than what humans can do. They're incredibly precise and consistent. It's a great tool to have in your arsenal.
