Hey thanks for watching. With the solar charging i havent seen it add bars before. I think it would need to be left in the sun for quite a while to do that. From my experience i think solar maintains the charge vs adding to it. With the Led lights, you are correct is has two leds only. They provide sufficient light for me.

Thanks for watching! I can see why it could be viewed as overpriced. Ive compared it to other smart watches, samsung + apple etc and the first thing that wins for me is the durability and feel. Looks are a preference so i wouldnt count it. But i think G-shock are leveraging their reputation for providing sturdy long last watches in this situation and as such have priced that in. So to buy the watch youd be betting on that as well. Id saying having had the watch for over a year now i see the value in it and wear it almost everyday. Hope you enjoyed and have agreat one!

Hi, sure, you can use the workout timer function for timers. Press 'mode' twice from home and then press and hold 'disp' for 3 seconds to go into settings for that mode. Set the timers from there as you prefer. Thanks for watching, hope this helps!

Hey @Ahmed, with regards to the resistance and home workouts, I use the run mode and start it without the GPS. When working out i keep the HR display up to monitor that. It calculates calories burned, but i dont know how accurate it is as compared to say ...an Apple watch. Its not something i place alot of reliance on, but rather use it as a guide. When you import the data into the app it will give you various types of data that are geared towards runners, but you can see your peak HR, Aerobic and anerobic effects as well as your HR zone times which you can use to interpret the intensity of your workout. On the other hand, when i go for runs or even use the treadmill i use run mode and find it pretty useful. Hope this helps and Thanks for watching! :)

Hi Thanks for watching! Appreciate your feedback too :) ! To answer your question, i would say this may not be the watch for you. It would be a waste of money if you dont use some of the features as its a $400 watch. As you said you like the watch design, you could actually still get a G-shock with a similar design and durability but without the smart features and pay 1/2 the amount or less. I would recommend you check out the G-shock site and take a look at their collections. The GBA and GA collections are probably the best cheaper alternative to this one if you don't mind the analog digital hybrid. Hope this helps, thanks again!

Thanks for watching! I'd say the strength is normal...it probably won't wake you up from your sleep but definitely noticeable. The strength can't be adjusted. It just has on or off, or you can customise what type of notifications warrant the vibration. Hope this helps.. enjoy!

I think when the run mode is activated, if your phone is synced with the watch, the GPS will also be picked up by the App, however I have never viewed the app while running, only after. With regards to the battery life, its absolutely great, I've had the watch about a yr now and I use the HR and GPS atleast twice a week and I've only had to charge the watch 4 times...all of which were when the battery was at half. Yep, once you use the Run feature (which i also use for workouts) it will automatically start trying to sync with the app to record HR and calculate calories burned based on your profile (height, weight etc). You can also monitor daily calories burned with the step tracker in the app. Hope this helps

Hi Thanks for watching! Im not sure if it can be used for all the cycling metrics. IF you use the RUN mode you can track your heart rate, distance and pace traveled easily along with the GPS mapping. However it would be counting steps and comparing your speed to that of a normal run. If you want the durability and other features and are ok with that level of measurement/accuracy then it can work for your cycling. That said, there may be other more cycling focused options out there. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

This happened to me as well...try re-syncing the watch manually...press and hold the Disp button for 5 seconds to enter the settings menu then scroll down to pairing, open the app on your phone and then select pairing and connect...if that doesn't work try reinstalling the app....hope this helps..and thanks for watching!

Hi, Yep I am able to read my text messages once I go into the notification section on the watch..in the preview notification it will sometimes just say 'text'..the main limitation is the watch won't display emojis or images. You could try checking your watch permissions in the settings section of the app to see if texts are enabled. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and enjoy!

@@johnschiliro5678 strange, im not sure why it wouldn't show them. The only probable solutions i can think of are to try checking if the watch/app are updated to the latest versions and also in the notification section, select the text notification, press and hold the disp button for 2 seconds, select configuration, try selecting off then on to see if that helps...not sure what else....Hope it gets solved soon...
