Top 10 Greatest Golfers Ever
Переглядів 22 тис.8 років тому
There’s no denying that great golfers are able amass their share of total tournaments won around the world, not just the PGA Tour. Gary Player, for example, won only 24 events on the PGA Tour, but over 150 worldwide. Tiger is rapidly approaching Sam Snead’s all-time record of 83 PGA Tour wins, but of course he also has 14 majors victories. Considering all that, here is my vote for the top 10 pl...

short game wizard award goes to Raymond Floyd. He missed nearly each fairway or green on the way to beating Gil Morgan who hit every green and putted poorly to lose to Ray at Doral 1982ish
watched Hale Irwin on the range at Doral between fixing sprinklers. Hale was hitting a pwedge each 100 yd shot landed within 3 yds of the pin no wasted movement shot after shot similar tempo to Tom Watson and Nick Price.
Sam Snead is oily
Hogan has said many times he was playing his best golf just before the accident. The after accident Hogan had a tough time walking.
Many thanks for this very nice video. I was missing Moe Norman - his swing was also spectacular.
The music is awful.
What made their swings Sweet wasn't the slow motion it was the rhythm. This video doesn't do their swings Justice
lag for daze
U missed moe norman- one of the 2 best ballstriker ever per Tiger Woods
the best swing is from Luke Donald .
ernie els?
No TW? 😂
The Elk was some player🏌️♂️👍
I’ve played golf with 4 of those golfing legends🏌️♂️👍
I like how at least half of them stay connected.....but Freddy. That right elbow goes flying. It's like he is using that elbow tug to trigger his downswing.
Love Freddy's swing! His face is in the same place as he swings through impact.
Wish I could find footage of ex European Tour player and commentator, Phil Parkin. I'm a little biased because he was a great mentor to me throughout my teens, but even the great Peter Alliss once said that Phil had just about the nicest golf swing you'll ever see. He was also one of the longest hitters in his day, carrying balls over a 30ft high fence at the end of the 300yd driving range at Augusta.......with a persimmon driver 😮 I once candied for him at the Bellfry and saw him hit drive & 9 iron to 2ft on the 18th.
Payne Stewart’s swing is a mix of Hogan, Snead, Jones, Hagen and Vardon. He even had the style down as well, as The knickers really accentuated his swing. He knew how to really reincarnate the classic golf era like no other player.
I don't think Seve should be in this list and Faldo in the top ten list! Seve had a more beautiful swing than Faldo.
Payne Stewart - best swing of all time! Jerry Pate 2nd, Seve 3rd, Olazabal 4th, Els 5th.
Sweet swings and great swings aren't the same thing IMO. Sweet swings are buttery smooth and effortless. Some great swings, Tiger, lashed at the ball. The outcome was something to behold, but watching him swing was not. The condition of his body is the proof (pre-wreck of course).
Tiger 17th 🤔
Payne Stewart is likened to a crane. It's beautiful and the tempo seems to be a dragon landing. I want to see it.
I would have included Louis Oosthuizen 👍🏼🙏🏼
The perfect music to go along with the perfect swing! 😀
this is awesome
this is awesome
that lag and whip
you can watch this over and over again, read his 5 steps book, and 100% you still won't know what he's actually doing, it took me 20 years to figure it out,
I'm a former student of both Henry Picard and Gardner Dickinson. Two men very close to Hogan. I know how Hogan swung the club. How do I know? Henry Picard taught me how Hogan did it. On a hot South Carolina lowcountry day outside of Charleston, South Carolina around 1988 at a driving range on Johns Island that was straight out of Tin Cup. The things he taught me and showed me were validated by Gardner Dickinson In the mid-90s when I met Gardner at Loxahatchee Country Club in Florida for a lesson which turned into being not just a lesson but a validation of what I learned from Henry Picard and he had me jump in his golf cart and play nine holes watching me teaching me. I learned things that you have never been in print before nor in a video.... Nothing anywhere. New information on specific details of his golf. Sway whether that be footwork his hitting position his delivery through impact his right foot which he called his rudder I could go on and on. So I agree with what you said except for one person and that would be myself
Sublime Swing. What did you figure out?
Good for you
Hard to believe Steve Elkington didn't make an impact on the Champions Tour.
I watch videos of Mr. Hogan every single day, he's absolutely mesmerizing. His equipment from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's etc. is still sort after by golf nuts like me. The Hogan irons, wedges are still valid, i have 4 sets and counting. Played a Hogan persimmon driver (1971) just last week. The sound and feel is outrageous; the attention they garner from other golfers is worth the loss of distance. GOD Bless! Happy New Year!!!
Me too! Poetry in motion. Cheers
Brilliant!!
IMO, it should be who are the top 10 golfers of their eras. Otherwise it is so hard to compare because your choices used different equipment for their eras
What about Tiger?
You couldn't get any swings of Nicklaus where he was like under 45 years old? 22-year-old Jack Nicklaus had one of the greatest golf swings ever in the history of golf. He could probably outdrive Ben Hogan by a hundred yards.
2 min that's it
I miss Payne Stewart. The thing that I look at in all these swings is look at their hands and arms in the delivery position. They are all pretty much I. The same position. Hands opposite right thigh. In my swing, many times my hands are trailing my body at that position.
Where is George Knudson on the list...
I love this video. I love the music. I love the legends swings. When i leave i just think of that Mickey Wright swing and its not even close.
For women golfers, I'd definitely go with Patty Berg.
How can you make this video about the best golf swing ever.. and not put the man that all the pros called the best striker of the golf ball ever.. jack ,tiger Arnold , sneed, Trevino, all of m them agreed that the GOAT ,, WAS ALWAYS ,, ( MOE NORMAN ). IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEM MOE NORMAN.. WELL YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT !!!!
As I watch all of these world glass golf swings
Ive jeard Bobby Jones say Mickey Wright was the best golfer he's seen and swing also
. 2:49 .
Oh how the turns have tabled! - 23.5.2023
#9 got that drip 😅
La música un plomo..!
You Da's always put some creepy weird music to video. Or just inappropriate.
When, Tiger won 4 majors in a row, that's when he became the greatest.
