In the direction you are traveling across the Golden Gate Bridge. Is there a turn-off to Treasure Island? Or do you have to be crossing the bridge in the other direction.
You probably mean the Bay Bridge (between SF and Oakland)? That one has Treasure Island exists in both directions.

The best time for this drive is a sunny day in winter. I first did it in December 1962. See the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo. Have lunch in Pescadero. There used to be a very popular nude beach just north of San Gregorio.
