I've always viewed Graham as a much more gifted and talented version of the Ancient Aliens guy. Fun to listen to, evocative and not without some merit (encouraging people to think for themselves) but it's entertainment and not anything to do with actual science. I'm sad to see it's all devolved into harassment, and further saddened he hasn't come out very strongly against it. Weaponized ignorance seems to be the name of the game these days.

I first heard of hancook on JRE. Listened a whole episode while driving. First thing I dislike is the amount he bit*hes abour being silenced while the same time having a f*cking netflix show and multiple books. The other is that when ever faced with a logical questions "is there any material evidence" he has notging to offer. Water erosion on the phinx is not enought for such a big claim as his. How the f*ck do we have gobekli tepe and not a single pottery shard, dna evidence, ship or anything tangable for this lost civ?

Well if it was Graham Hancrock wouldn't need to lie and create fake inaccurate images of the site and the lava tubes and every study done on the site.

It turns out Hancock has a following of "esoteric" book writers that has sold many books with really bad information in it. Simply put white boys doing DMT and thinking they are archeologists of the mind. I challenged one of them about their books and called the writer out, and all he said was "I don't respond to rude comments", which goes to show that the guy's book has no real information and just a bunch of word salad that creates no historical origin and no conclusion.

Thank you, Flint Dibble, and Dr. Lee Clare, for such an illuminating video. I'm very familiar with Dr. Lee's work through @theprehistoryguys @Rupert Soskin @Michael Bott. Wonderfull to see such a thorough and accessible piece of work that this video represents, in stark contrast with the mis / dis information that the internet, especially UA-cam and TickTock, is full of. The media in general needs to take a step back and do some real research into the facts.

Flint Dibble is for archeologists wannabes what garlic is for vampires.

As a scientist Hancock bothers me because he wants to bypass the science process and push his crockpot hypotheses as fact. And when you test it, and show that there is no evidence he gets defensive and attacks scientists and their institutions; claiming they are obdurating his findings. It reminds me of the intelligent design crow like Behe who pushed their pseudoscientific nonsense. They also bypassed the peer-review process and published it in books: to make money and influence. To Hancock is the same as Behe. He’s a fraud, an Elmer Gantry, who wants to push his nonsense and make money at the same time. Extraordinary things require extraordinary evidence and he has none, except sophistry and lots of it.

The world needed to hear from real scientists now more than ever. Unfortunately The internet brought voice to everyone, including those who think google is a University like Dan.

Hi Flint, we do have physical evidence of advanced civilizations. It manifests partly as images from the Akashic record that can be viewed and understood by adults and children alike. Atlantis is evident worldwide, in thousands of places that we can see and touch but those places have been misrepresented by those who own history. It's not the fault of archaeologists that these obvious artifacts are not recognized, you do a great job as artifact finders, and we appreciate and thank you for that good, diligent work.

How any conclusions can be made until the whole hill is excavated is beyond me. There’s so much more to be learned!
