Yes, it's best to use the products as a system to achieve better results so you can use the shampoo, conditioner, and then follow up with the leave in. You can leave the conditioner in for 1-3 minutes and up to 5 minutes for deeper conditioning as you have dry and damaged hair. You can also try out the Acidic Bonding Concentrate 5 minute mask and the intensive treatment to help repair your hair.

Hi no it can’t “remove” the protein treatment. If your hair is feeling dry, stiff, or brittle you can use the 4c to cleanse product buildup that can be making things worse and then try to focus on hydrating treatments. So for instance you can try to use 4c in combination with a moisturizing mask like n8 to help restore the hair. Olaplex also just released a new leave in that is great for dry hair so you can check it out. We also just did a new video on it.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. You would apply the serum after you wash your hair and before any other styling products. No need to apply it again. You can also use it in between your wash days on dampened hair for added protection. For a nice hydrating routine, you can use the Olaplex 4 & 5 shampoo and conditioner, and then follow up with the primer and then use the new N5 leave in conditioner they just released before styling.

Hi no they work differently. K18 focuses on repairing the hair at a molecular level, while the Olaplex 4 in 1 will focus more on deep hydration along with bond repair. If your hair is damaged from chemical treatments, you can try the K18 mask. If you need immediate moisture the 4 in 1 can be beneficial. In my opinion, it's best to try both and see the results for yourself and you can alternate and use both. However, the Olaplex 4 in 1 mask is a professional salon only product so you can have the treatment done or you can get the Olaplex N8 mask which is for home use.
