[Get Carried] Yogg+0 P3 Shadow Beacon Guide
This is how Get Carried handles shadow beacons. Instead of taunting out shadow beacons we prefer to minimize the raids responsibilities and maximize boss uptime.

This is how Get Carried attempts to kill stars. Lowering the number of collapsing stars killed greatly lowers the tank/heal gear check and using this strategy you should be able to kill the boss with no more than 8 stars being killed. I'm going to demonstrate and mostly explain how warriors can AoE farm classic wow content, just like a paladin...a slower paladin...
Are you guys 1 phasing or 2 phasing the brain room?
I see your nameplate addon is Plater, but how do you have the name of the player the mob is targeting off to the right of the plate? Is that a weak aura?
Are you running 2 or 3 healers?

Nope, we have always 3 healed and we keep our healers out of the brain room. For 10man we solo heal and the healer stays up top as well.

Does this apply for 25m as well? I see some guides saying kill the 7th and 9th stars before going into big bang (so 3rd stars of each phase before 2nd and 3rd big bang)

@tandoor how do you kill a start whilst your inside the black hole? I didn't understand that part? do you mean you have it dotted up before you enter portal and it dies whilst you are in the shadow realm?
Yeah, we used to use dots to kill them during BB.

What is interrupting the drain life's from the adds?
Looks like the only person interrupting was our resto shaman casting wind shear. We usually don't kick unless we are moving out for shadow beacon.

It is part of the merfin t8 weakaura pack, you can find it on wago but mine is extremely out of date.

Hmm, good question but unfortunately I have no idea. I haven't done anything to purposefully change my target circle color.

Do you need a plan on how to use the ads to make the black holes disappear? Or is there a point to?
No, we just leave on our healer and when they go in for big bang it will naturally close one. If the constellations are getting way out of hand a tank can taunt to close them, but its usually not needed.

I think it’s just part of plater that you can enable, I don’t have a weak aura for it sorry.

I just have it keybound and I put it up manually. You can keybind it through the normal blizzard keybinds options.

Helpful, although I think referring to the Stars by their spawn number would be helpful? i.e. Star 5 & 6 spawn at 01:15, labelling/calling them that would have made things clearer for me personally. (I think it's Star 7 you do the 20% too and Star 8 you ignore)
It really depends on your groups damage, we have killed as few as 5 stars in one of our raids I believe, but I agree that I could have done better on explaining the stars. Thanks for the feedback!
Great video. Would it be possible to see dps/heal meters to get a gauge on the needed throughput for future guides?
If you have the damage to unlock Algalon you should have the damage to kill him. We have 1, 2, and 3 healed 10man and we have 4-5 healed all of our 25man kills. If/When I make future videos I will try and make sure the meters on on my screen. Usually the meters are way off the screen to the right since I don't need to look at them mid pull.
Great video canu make a video for how to kill algalon without rog or sp <3 =D would be a great help for our group cause we dont know rn how to soak big bang ...
The only way to do it without a rogue/sp would be to have a tank eat the big bangs. This greatly increases the difficulty as it means you aren't using the cds while tanks are actually tanking, and I would highly recommend finding a way to get a rogue/sp. If you cannot get an sp/rogue you can use a prot pally AD for the first and 3rd big bangs and then use shield wall + painsupp for the 2nd one.
